They all suck. I think the R's are particularly evil because they are lying to us. The D's readily admit they are crazy.

i haven't trusted either party for a while. i just expect republicans to pretend to be conservative and accidentally serve as speedbumps at times.

Politics is a number game and unless you want to see Speaker AOC ramming her Commie bullshite down the throats of decent, working people, you better get your mind right.
Well said. Conservatives and moderates that think they're taking some sort of stand by not voting Republican are useful idiots.
As Trey Stone said (probably paraphrasing), "I hate Republicans, but I really fricking hate Democrats" - - - and we all should vote accordingly.

It goes beyond distrust.
It’s antipathy.
I’m to the point of reflexively voting against the chosen candidates of my own party. If the RNC picks a candidate in the primary or the Missouri Republicans, I’m picking someone else.

You’re suggesting that Rand Paul, Thomas Massie, or Ron Paul have pushed a conservative agenda while in Congress?
Also, most, if not all, of the founding fathers would have been Libertarians or libertarian leaning.
But remember, we are where we are now because of the ‘help’ of your beloved Republicans and Democrats.
I should have qualified my statement with “national level” candidates. It is true that 3rd party guys have had success at the state level. I hate the freaking party system we have, and consider republicans and democrats to be opposite sides of the same coin. I just don’t believe a third party candidate can accomplish anything at the national level (with the possible exception of Trump) without doing more harm than good.

Two sides of the same coin. Both parties want to grow the federal government and increase spending. The original hard line between the two has been eradicated.
The silly social stuff - trans 'rights', cultural appropriation, and even COVID and the environment - are meant to distract us all from this fact. And it works pretty damn well!

The left is doing bad things to this country and the right is doing nothing to effectively stop them.
So, no I don’t trust either.

The only goal of a DC Politician is to stay a part of the ruling class for as long as they can collect enough assets then leave.

Total trust in the GOP here…

However I do know this: If we don't hold our noses and vote Republican in the Fall, the Democrats will absolutely destroy Western Civilization and that is NOT hyperbole.
I see about 5 of the first 7 posters are people I do not readily recall..
Is there a cottage industry of ensuring Republicans are included in any grumbling? Is there a set of shills making sure of this?
Like oogabooga - there is a distinct difference and if recognition of the horrific damage the DEMOCRAT PARTY of 2022 is not fully exposed as being VASTLY worse than any political party in US history, we will have a serious world wide disaster that will leave all of our families in horrible situations...
just say NO, HELL NO to these domestic terrorists, these psychotic DEMOCRAT woketivists.. Do it for yourself. Do it for your kids. Do it for the future of the USA.
and shills be gone

I don't trust politicians as a general rule. Parties either.

Start voting for them and find out. Join your state’s party. Run for something. Donate money.

Raise your hand if you have ever been violated by the two-party system.

I always know what to expect from Dims. I certainly do NOT trust the GOP. Yeah AOC and Omar are bad, but so are folks like Cassidy and Graham and McCarthy.

I'll stick with my go to: I hate everyone inside the beltway.
