Very simple..the SEC dominated when had the top head coaches..now the Big Ten does..it will change..will go back and forth between the Big Ten and the SEC....it will change every 4-6 years prob.
This is the problem. We've been in a coaching drought. Cignetti exemplifies this.
edit: Kirby is the exception in modern era.

Well, no shite. When has it ever mattered for any roster. I hope that what you're saying about him and the coaching staff isn't true.
Agree that Jovic is replaceable but I would prefer to have him on the roster. Not to suggest that he should be in the starting 5 next year, but he would be a good depth piece with some valuable experience.
Anyone who wishes to part ways with Haad is crazy. Sure he is turnover prone, but he can fix that. He does have some great passing skills. Not so much on the P&R but can work on that. His slashing ability opens up so many scoring opportunities. He is best at it in recent memory. And for what its worth, I love seeing him on a fast break and he seems to be a positive for the locker room for sure.
In my prior suggestions on who to 'pay' I wasn't suggesting that these guys start but they represent a good, young core. Pay KO what it takes. He earned it.

Pay him, pay Tahaad, pay KO, pay SWAy, pay Jovic. Then go from there.
Begging them to put the ball on the floor.
Keep KO, Jovic, Pettiford, Freeman please.

Gave Auburn the worst beating in a 4/5 game in the history of the NCAA Tournament. A 31 point thrashing.
Yep, we weren't great then. Definitely not claiming that was a final four team.

In this age boosters are especially important. But as our own Golesh says, let them know to check their expectations at the door. But, we were able to pull what, 9 football natties even when they meddle?

Maybe I’m different. I really don’t give a shite about things such as this

And still the only team in history that returned all 5 starters and repeated as national champions. Have to be up there for accomplishment alone. Doesn't hurt that 3 of them went in top 9 of the draft, first trio from one school to all go in top 10.
Impressive. And as a lifelong Hawks fan, much love for Al.
I don't really get the uproar. At the end of the day, the social media teams are cheerleaders.
Were any of yall at every 2012 home game in Jordan Hare? Imagine if the cheerleaders and tigerpaws called it quits.

Does Bruce have any pull in Tuscaloosa regarding getting a new basketball area built? I've been waiting decades for that one.
Funds have dried up for criminal defense
Well, the non cut off post says that 18 wins is the most for a first year AU MBB coach. Historically we are a basement program, and Bruce got yall to start spending some money on this sport.
While we could return to the basement (doubtful) you should be giving BRUCE flowers for whipping everyone else into shape. Not looking at Kentucky, Arkie, UF.
