It’s not just nursing home patients coming in anymore. I’m concerned this is the new normal for awhile.

It makes sense that the most healthcare-connected would get this first. I was hoping it would be less involved past that population.

Gone as a political game piece and consequently a substantial disruptor to every day lives?

Nope. Never believed the Left would stop using it, nor the Right tough enough to stop it being used.

It’s almost all community spread I’m seeing right now.

I’m not talking about the political aspect, because we all knew the Left was going to milk it as long as possible. I’m talking about the actual virus and the fact that it’s still ongoing at mid July.

It’s probably died out several times, but the Dems keep re-releasing it.

I never expected it to die off when it seemed like we were jumping through hoops to make sure it didn’t.

That’s what flattening the curve was, right - an effort to slow it down and extend the period of time the virus ran through the population? So we’ve been working to keep it going.

Not I. Even without the election year nonsense we see every day from our Fifth Column MSM, this virus was here to stay as soon as it broke out from Wuhan. I was hoping we'd be further down the curve by now, but no way was it going to be gone.

There's a reason I cleaned out my desk in Seattle on March 5 before I flew home for the last time, even though my contract as of today goes until December 31.

I've been calling the end of COVID November 3rd from the get go.

Once it was obvious that it was actually a thing (call it mid-March), I didn't think it would be "gone" by the summer. But I did think there would be at least some honesty in reporting on what state it was in. Even from sources I mostly trust, the reporting has been truly piss poor.

I didn’t and still don’t expect this to go away any time soon. I live in a very liberal state and the people here are “terrified” because the news tells them to be. Even with a November Trump win, this will still be at the top of the deck of cards the left will be using.

You can keep something that's a hoax around a lot longer than something that's real.

It could have been gone...

Personal accountability has a hand here.

The fricking government can't make you do what's right either.

The hygiene in this country is shite.
