Even if it’s something like 35% that is a horrible atrocity that I Can’t even fathom.

And yet we are supposed to trust the numbers on everything else, without question...

And when Americans wake up to stories like this, more and more of them shake their heads and go, "Why, exactly, are we doing this?"

That’s why cases are absolutely meaningless.

Just used as a scare tactic.

COVID killed the flu. It's science.

Flu like symptoms and loss of smell and taste = covid

Flu like symptoms = flu

This is relative. I have lost taste and smell with anything from Covid to strep to seasonal allergies.

Our "experts" say the practically-sentient "Delta variant" doesn't have the loss of smell/taste.

I think they've twisted their logic so much by trying to label practically everything COVID that not only have they managed to lap themselves - they're IDing the stuff like the common cold as COVID variants now.

I wonder how many of the “I didn’t lose my smell or taste” “COVID cases” were actually the flu,

I asked this question earlier.

If they are two distinctly different viruses, how many people were hospitalized with "Covid-19" when they actually had the flu? If that is the case, then we have to figure that those people were treated in areas of the hospital that were segregated to include only Covid-19 patients. How many actually ended up getting Covid-19 in the hospital after being admitted with the flu?

Clearly, the flu has a different standard of hospitalization. I've had the flu. I had fever, respiratory symptoms, muscle aches, etc. I also never went to a doctor for the flu, let alone checked into a hospital. Now, I would go to the doctor and/or check into the hospital early on, with the sniffles, cough, and low-grade fever.

What don't you understand? Vaccines aren't an Iron Curtain. They are a preventative and an anti-viral in the case of infection - just like the flu vaccines.

It's very simple:

He got the vaccine

He got covid

He has no symptoms

See, this is better than "he got covid and has terrible symptoms".

A good guess would be lower than usual if you want to go with shutdowns and masks helped stop the flu.

But i never bought that it kept it at an historical low.
