Literally acted in self defense. No one is even talking about the fact that his charges are WORSE than any officer in Minneapolis incident. This is a tragic day for our country.

Bogus charges and an eventual innocent verdict will be used to stoke further acrimony and unrest.

Ten, even five years ago I would agree. We don't have blind justice anymore though.

They want dead cops... one way or another.

This is progressive liberalism at it's finest.

This crossed my mind as well. The charges seemed so outlandish, it appears it was doomed to fail. What do they think will happen.

This may give the DA office too much credit. Doubt they ever performed a Failure Mode Effect Analysis.

Worst he could get under the law if applied loosely is heat of passion manslaughter

But if the law is applied correctly he should get nothing. Unfortunately the person responsible was the guy he drank and drove so police had to come out, fought with the police because he was being arrested under the law, stole a taser and fired the taser at the officer.

The officers did not set on motion this chain of events.

That damn DA needs to be arrested and prosecuted for miscarriage of justice, if that is something he can be charged with.

Part of me wants to think they're so egregiously over-reaching to make sure the cops get off while on the surface giving the appearance they're actually doing something to appease the black community.

But no, I think they really are that stupid.

because a stupid assed black demagogue-style politician is in a position to enforce this case within the failure zone expected of black liberal politicians.

The community will not allow this peckerwood garbage to get away with these kinds of charges,

Personally I hope there is 100% resignation of the PD there and that retarded lowlife DA is the first victim of blacl pathological socialization in HIS neighborhood.

If the guy gets convicted, in a couple years since trial won't even start until 2021 at the earliest, Gov. will pardon.

Because the Fulton County DA is the attorney equivalent of Dr. Nick from the Simpsons.

He skipped "law" the day they taught it at law school.

He shouldn't be convicted but do you want your life in the hands of 12 of your "peers" at this moment in time?

Given the DA involved, betting on “stupid” is a good chance.

He sucks at his job, is blatantly pandering to make it through a runoff, and is under investigation for embezzlement.

As was mentioned elsewhere, he blew one or more high profile cases like the Ray Lewis murder case by doing stupid shite.
