Politicians know the memory of the voter regarding the acts of the politician is about 120 days long. Hence, the politician behaves anyway he/she/it/them/they/x/y/etc.. wants until about 120 days before the election.

He campaigns as a huge conservative and hard-core MAGA. But after the election, goes back to RINO status. Not sure how everyone falls for it each time?
