Hey Boiiii! We dont like your facts around these parts. You best be on the road before the sun sets.

Nothing’s a fact without sort of source information to look at. If something’s truly a “fact,” then such a thing should always be relatively simple to come up with.

US Taliban Peace Deal
All foreign forces = zero permanent presence = no troops / no base
quote:
Withdrawal of foreign forces. The United States agreed to reduce its number of troops in the country from roughly 12,000 to 8,600 within 135 days. If the Taliban follows through on its commitments, all U.S. and other foreign troops will leave Afghanistan within fourteen months.

See post above. Or google the Doha deal and choose any number of sources.

“all their forces from remaining bases”
You could use a sharpie and write “except for Bagram” to change reality.
quote:
the United States, its allies, and the Coalition will complete the withdrawal of their remaining forces from Afghanistan within 14 months following the announcement of this joint declaration and the U.S.-Taliban agreement, and will withdraw all their forces from remaining bases, subject to the Taliban’s fulfillment of its commitments under the U.S.-Taliban agreement.

And what point are you seeking to make here?

The Taliban also had counter terrorism obligations in that deal that they obviously didn’t meet. When they come rolling through they released a lot of prisoners. That’s just what I can remember off the top of my head. The deal would have been null and void at that point leaving the Trump free do whatever he wanted had he been elected in 2020.
The Taliban was also supposed to start talks with the Afghan government at the time if I recall too which they never did obviously. All they did was attack them. The Taliban probably broke every promise in that deal nine ways to Sunday.

I guess you missed that day in kindergarten when they tried to instill in you the concept of restraint, and sometimes it is best to say nothing at all. But you clearly have impulse control issues.

Which is crazy weird, because the Taliban violated the terms of the deal repeatedly and Biden lied about generals McKenzie and Milley recommending a security force be left in place.
It’s not “crazy weird”. Biden admin’s execution of the withdrawal warrants criticism.
There’s no scenario where that has anything to do with keeping Bagram unless you are suggesting the war shouldn’t have ended.

So you would’ve wanted Trump to send troops back in? Maybe this is why a lot of people argue the Afghans should’ve been the ones at the negotiating table with Trump and if any parties were to be left out it should’ve been the Taliban.

Coming from a cartoonish person that thinks I support terrorists. The jokes write themselves.

You support anything that causes Trump problems and issues. Take that as you will. Does that sound too shallow to be possible? To normal people, sure. But it’s exactly the sorry case here.

You can ask Chyna. I’m pretty sure they are using the hell out of it.

Trump signed the deal to surrender the base.

To reverse the agreement would have required declaring war again.
There is no scenario where we peacefully keep Bagram without physical force and the same failed occupation we just engaged in for almost 2 decades.
