However, their legacies are markedly different, particularly in their philosophies and contributions to society. Mandela is celebrated for his role in ending apartheid and promoting reconciliation, while Trump’s legacy is more contentious, marked by his populist style, economic policies, and divisive rhetoric.

And you believe Mandela was without skepticism or criticism?

He was eventually a martyr in prison for a just cause (ending apartheid). He evolved to a statesman with how he handled “truth and reconciliation”.

Early on, though, including after his conviction and before the cause became widespread, he was roundly held up as an agitator and a communist sympathizer. Hell, even MLK’s legacy took many years after his murder to become as burnished as it is.

This is a childish comparison of their impacts and renown.

Very similar to this guy

Lol, mandela oversaw a terrorist organization that put bombs in public places, killing more women and children than oppressors. The real Mandela effect is not remembering he in fact was a terrorist piece of shite. I've voted against trump in multiple primaries and comparing him to Mandela isn't reasonable, based on the crimes they were convicted of.

Why didn't you link this in your OP?

If I get to page 5 and there is still no link you will pass a 10 centimeter kidney stone before the end of the week.

Yeah, being an Elon, Thiel, Tucker fan just screams anti-capitalist. My guess is he’s as much of an anti-capitalist as George Zimmerman was white, but it’s too soon to tell.
I wonder what the basis of the anti-capitalist trope is? It's a MSM claim.

Yet all of his SM remains on line, and I've seen little to support the anti-cap rap so far.

No it isn’t.

Trolling comments to get responses so he can then get more responses is par for the course.

Let's use the Bongino rule here^^^^^, give this a few days and it's quite possible we'll see another story.

Quite a conundrum for the left. They loved this guy, probably until they found out he’s conservative. He was their hero, now he’s probably just a lowlife criminal. That’s assuming this is even true, or that guy is even the killer.

Maybe the architects of society should reflect on the conditions they are creating that make bright young men feel desperate and rootless enough to do something like this.
Now THAT is left wing tripe.

He's far brighter than this engagement, even as a troll.

It underscores one of the causes of the rise of populism: the social contract between the haves and have nots has been breached. It has become apparent to the average person that the political class and the corporate class have been collaborating to gouge the frick out of average people. Prices up, CEO pay way up, stocks investments at all time highs, but wages for the working stiff are essentially stagnant. It was largely tolerated until inflation pushed this issue above the surface. And people are PISSED.

If Trump doesn’t get a handle on this when he gets into office then this won’t be the last CEO murdered. It’s like the 21st century version of the French Revolution.

It’s not really a left vs. right issue. It’s more of all people getting tired of having their life rigged against them financially.

Seems like he was your hero as well.
