you are putting too much thought into this.
Its pro Trump or TDS, that's it.
You hate him or you know of others that hate him and you just follow suit.
Politics can be complicated for most.

It’s such a bizarre mindset. Upper middle class and above democrats vote that way out of “kindness” for people they don’t interact with or want to.

Two things probably.
1. People vote for the representative in front of them. They, to the extent they are paying attention, might not like what El-Sayed is saying, but if they don’t live in Michigan, they can’t do anything about him. They might have a more normal or moderate Dem at home. They might also rationalize that there are always extreme senators and representatives, but the nature of partisan politics tends to set limits on what they can accomplish. Ie, I personally might not be far right enough to ever cast a vote from someone like Steve King, but I can vote for my own Republican candidate knowing that Republican control of the House of Representatives gives him slightly more power because it’s better than the alternative of giving the Democrats control. Normie Dem voters are basically the reverse of normie Republican voters, which is people who just want stability at the end of the day. Which brings us to
2. Republicans have controlled all three branches of government for two years, and Trump is a chaos agent. I think the chaos is good, as I’ve written several times on here, because the old order of things needs to be completely destroyed, but if you have any attachment to the old order of your things, say you’re downwind from federal grants, rely on low cost diesel, your dependent on a rural hospital, etc., it might make sense to vote for a Dem just to gridlock all changes at the federal level. They aren’t going to get enough control to pass anything over a Trump veto, the conservatives have enough control of the Supreme Court to risk not getting a justice seated, and the amount of investigations the Dems will launch into Trump officials and Trump himself will pretty much insure that nothing of substance happens for the next two years. I personally think it’s a bad bet, especially for the Senate where people will be elected for 6 years and therefore outlast the current political moment by 4 years and possible have a Dem president in that time as wells and also because we need this whole thing to burn to the ground so that the world can start over, but that is why, in my estimation, you will find some normies voting Dem despite the extreme stances of the far left.

The limousine liberals have always been a confounding group. It's almost like they are voting in a certain way out of guilt.

See it for the total Marxist, freak show for what it is?
Most older ones don't fully know it or actually keep up with the power structure.
I saw a post by a recent retired co-worker mention she kept seeing all the DSA and Communism accusations and tried to claim it was a small majority and that as a Dem she didn't support that.
Then a guy drop some statistics of internal data and polling showing she was oblivious to what her party had actually become.
So no, saying the Democratic Party has fully been taken over by Socialists and Communists is not hyperbole. It's the TRUTH

Because of the decades of indoctrination from schools, mainstream media, hollywood etc.

That’s it in a nutshell. They look at Talarico and say “aw what a nice gay person” without another thought regarding the Democrat agenda in DC.

Sure we can agree mutual grift on both parties BUT NOTHING NEAR THE LEVEL and extent of the Trump administration.(Trump knew there would be no accountability for the 2 billion he received while president)
Back to the Point : nothing happens both parties accuse Each Other of being the problem.
We the people, majority, are stuck in the middle of this mess.

I do agree the border is important, but that's an executive thing. Talarico and El-Sayed don't have control over it.
They would have a vote in funding or defunding ICE and Homeland Security. There goes your border wall and immigration enforcement. So yeah, they would have control over it.

I think there’s a sizable demographic that 20 years ago voted for W, voted for McCain, and now votes for Democrats like Talarico and Harris. These are lawyers, medical professionals, finance folks, etc. They’re close enough to the middle to be affected by things like taxes, crime, etc. but disregard anyway.

Alright, so I get why you would say that, but I believe it's naive to think this Trump administration has been any worse than previous. I honestly think Trump exposed a hell of a lot.

Exactly. Not to mention that Talarico and the Democrats will also fund USAID which will pay nonprofits to flood the border.

Are you still pretending you are an “average, everyday man”? You and your profession have done far more damage to the justice system and the Judiciary in general over the last 50 years than muh MAGA ever dreamed of yet you act like you have your finger on the pulse of the average American lol

I'm sorry I disagree.IMO no administration has been more corrupt and Broke the Grift Law(s) as Trump has.
I do appreciate that in your disagreement you didn't call me a commie, gay fig,etc etc.
My opinion of our political board is about 90 percent profess mostly Extreme views of the GOP.

Because democrats always lie in the general election and the average person falls for it . Thats one thing Donald campain has done good in Florida . A lot of the attack ads show Jolly constantly changing his views . Texas should be doing that in Texas .
