I believed that until the last 5-10 years with the H1B mob. I mostly agree with respect to the physicians and engineers.

I meant the most disliked part. There are reasons they are very disliked.

All of this. Indian supremacy is a thing. Many of you only know them as doctors. But when you work with them closely, as I have for 10 years, you see how they stick together more than any other group. White, black, mexicans, chinese, ect dont compare in terms of protecting theri own.
And their religion is so fricked up.

I've been fighting a company for a month over a refund that I got an email saying was on the way to be returned to the account but never showed up. The Indian customer service team can't resolve any problems and just keep repeating the same lines over and over about how much they value me and they are working with other teams trying to resolve my issues. I have begged for a person in the US I can talk to but they claim there is no one they can refer me to. The supervisors are just as inept. Every person I get can't even repeat the issue back to me properly without getting something completely wrong.
I don't like them because they deserve it.

Indian dudes just come off a scummy and creepy by nature.

They’re notorious for ripping people off in business. They’ll refuse to pay for legitimate services or they’ll breach contracts and force a lawsuit. Basically carrying over 3rd world tactics from India.

It’s ridiculous to use Indian as a blanket demographic.
It’s certain regions that are the issue. I deal with Indian customers every day. They are all from the southern and coastal parts of India and they are great and very astute business people.

Might have something to do with their propensity to make use of patchouli in lieu of actual soap. (Not to mention the spam phone calls that never seem to stop.)

I don't know, but now that they're going everywhere, they will eventually scatter-frick humanity out of existence. Homo Sapiens will become everything Agent Smith said we were, and that is how the world will end.

This is an important topic IMO. Personally, I don't harbor much ill will for Indians as a group. But that doesn't mean I think we should import people who have zero at all to do with America.
Indians are just emblematic of the treatment of America as a spreadsheet instead of a country. People who don't share our interests, customs, way of life, values, etc. and have no borders, shared history, so forth are being imported into American cities and are making major impacts.
I see these debates on Twitter, with Indian dudes who are probably fine in a vacuum talking about jealousy or unfair attitudes towards, them, etc. and it makes me want to pull my hair out. Not because I hate them or wish them harm - but because we've created this system of entitlement for them.
"It's unfair" - We don't owe anything to you, your merit is irrelevant, you don't belong here. Maybe people are jealous, again, who cares, America shouldn't be some level playing field for the entire world to compete.
I hope the debate over paperwork Americans, heritage Americans, etc. continues and grows. I don't agree with some of the people who want America as an ethnostate, but it's a conversation we desperately need to have.

Not me. I spent 40 years in hospitals (and several at the VA when I was in grad school). Dot Indians have always had a high presence in healthcare. We especially saw them in Radiology and Pathology where communication was less of a problem interacting with patients. However, I remember when we were trying to use voice recognition for dictation systems (very early in their development) and these folks did not fair to well with the system recognizing their voices. Transcriptionists spent more time correcting or trying to get corrections that it wasn't worth it. I met some very good ones but with some of the hayseed patients we had, it just was a terrible language problem with these patients.

I agree with you. And our culture is largely telling these people that they shouldn’t assimilate.

Their culture is about as opposite to ours as possible. Plus they are LOUDLY arrogant. They want so badly to be impressive while not being so. Also wherever there is one indian there are 25 indians. Thats not likeable.
