Well, the people who wrote the Constitution said it wasn't. So, there's that.

Have you noticed that most of those nations are privatizing more of their health markets?
Especially the Nordic nations.
I bet you haven’t because you look at a picture and let it dictate your position.

This is why we can’t have nice things people.

Who decided upon, and issues these "Human Rights" you say can not be denied?

Explain to me what constitutes a "right" to healthcare, or to anything for that matter that is not afforded in the Constitution? And bear in mind those only apply to CITIZENS of the United States of America.

Define, precisely, “healthcare”.

You have the right to pursue healthcare.

You have no right to force anyone to give it to you.

For healthcare purposes I agree, but some functions of the state are a basic premise of the social compact.

For instance, military service. As a tax paying citizen I expect our govt to support and uphold our nations defense.

Just curious, is everyone here also for abolishing Medicare? As that is a socialist program?

I just don't get why people like Bernie and plan to vote for him. Do you seriously want a communist as our POTUS? Do you even know what that type of government does to a society and its people?

If that's true, then a supply of food and water is a right of even higher priority, as well as shelter.

The answer you seek is that none of these are found in the U.S. constitution.

It may be a right, but that doesn't mean I have to pay for your healthcare.

I have have a right to bear arms. Where is my free shotgun or .44 Magnum?

I'm not against helping those that are unable to help themselves. Therefore, medicare/medicaid, i'm not totally opposed to. I am opposed to the rampant abuse and mismanagement of the whole system and believe our people deserve better than what the fedgov can give them. So i am against medicare in its current format, but not against helping others that legitimately, are in need. Nor do i think many people are.

How? Real easy. I deny your flawed premise. That is how. Are you pro slavery? You must be if you think people deserve free service from someone else. You must be if you think it is fine to tax someone to pay for someone who refuses to work.

You are pro slavery. That is a fact.

And yes you are. That is the definition of slavery. Forcing someone to work for your benefit at their detriment while refusing your own share of the labor.

You think state-forced labor is a civic virtue and governmental privilege?

Odd.
Bernie would cite Cuba, China, and Russia.

I’m all for free healthcare as long as it excludes any illness related to drugs, drinking, smoking and obesity.
