Nah.

To a lot of people life is the most valuable thing. There is a price point to keep that thing if your life decisions or genetics have impacted your health for the worse.

I have no issue with healthcare costing an epic crap ton; and this is coming from someone who doesn’t have health insurance

A human right is something Man can impose on the world around him, such as self-defense. He neither takes nor gives anything in order to accomplish this yet it is vital to his survival.

Healthcare is not something of the natural world, it is a creation of society. What someone else creates, no one else can claim a "right" to it.

Not at all.

I'm not a real Bernie supporter, I just posted a popular Bernie bro meme.

I agree. All doctors, physicians, nurses and health care workers should be forced to provide free services to anyone that needs it. Next will be free legal services, lawn care, vehicle maintenance and ball waxing. I have a God-given right to smooth, hairless shiny balls. Go, Bernie, go!

Is it a human right not to be forced to provide healthcare to someone who can't compensate you for your services?

Hundreds of millions of people doing a dumb thing doesn't make it less dumb.

Also, the USA has pretty much been footing the bill for these countries' defense for the last 70 years - kinda makes it easy to blow your allowance on other shite.

Additionally, pretty sure those other countries aren't in the vanguard of medical research, technology, etc. as is the USA.

And...lastly, those countries are pretty damned homogenous compared to the USA.

If you want honest debate, ask an honest question.

"How can you deny health INSURANCE is a human right?"

I think you don't know what "a right" is.

Here is a clue: it's not just "stuff you want."

Because it is not a human right. How do you support that someone has the "right" to the services of another?

DO I have the "right" to accounting services? No. Medicine is not a right, it is a service.

Life liberty and pursuit of happiness. If healthcare makes you happy, by all means pursue it. But it is not owed to you simply because you exist, nor is any other persons labor.
