But most Americans aren't to that point yet. Once we get there, it will matter.

So, if a 'stolen election' and all the Illegal Immigration at the southern border isn't enough then what will be? If those two things aren't enough its hard to imagine what would be.

If Dems win in '24.... It won't be hard to imagine then. Think of the
blatant "frick you" to conservative Americans we've seen the last 3 plus years, times 100. The communist Dems will take drastic measures to silence all disagreement with their plans.
Censorship will be enacted at levels we can't imagine, of course for our protection

Trump didn't lose the 2020 election on policy. I feel from this conversation that you understand that. Trump lost the 2020 election because he cannot control his emotions or his mouth.

well first off, i'm pretty squarely in the stolen election camp at this point, but that's another discussion. in the framework of assuming a legitimate election, i think that Trump lost because of his mouth and emotions to an extent, but most of that was as a response to an entirely unfair and dishonest attack on his character and motives based on his POLICY.

lol i'm probably too blackpilled at this point for reasonable conversation anyways. i'm waiting to join the insurgency.

i'm just playing devil's advocate here, not trying to be adversarial, but honestly, what could the GOP do differently that would make them more effective? being milquetoast nice guys gets moderately decent coverage in the media but has been shown to perpetually lose elections, conversely, being aggressive and standing on principles in the face of a hostile enemy gets you labeled as Hitler. what would you have conservatives do differently to message better?

There's another thread going discussing how another GOPE Dep is resigning, the uniparty working to decrease the GOP majority in the house. The damage that could be done before the election, passing laws concerning illegals that Trump could do nothing about once passed into law. Sucks.

I'll be there with you. I'll just spend the first few nights around the campfire at the rebel camp whining about how it got to this point in the first place.

I can only think of one way, and that's for the whole of the middle class to simply stop paying income tax.

They would love for you to not pay. They will prosecute the ones they want to prosecute and let go the groups they don't hate.

I don't know how you think not paying taxes is a way to fight back. They don't need your taxes. They can print all the money they want.

I get it, you love the government and got yours, so eff the country.

You think you'll be fine and don't have to worry about the new 87,000 irs agents your side funded.

Also, thanks to your uni-party, we don't have the highest standard of living, but we work 4 months of the year to support your kind.

Stop voting GOPe, it hasn't delivered one campaign promise or stopped a budget increase in 30 years.

Grow up and stop whining, then maybe the women will start talking to you.

Be assertive and confident with your beliefs. Don't be afraid to speak your mind in any setting. Democrats love to see you cower in fear of retaliation. Don't play their game.

You don't need reasons not to have reasons for what you believe. You are inherently good and you're under no obligation to explain yourself every day.

Though arguing politics online is fun, people were more stable when they followed the advice of "never talk politics or religion" with strangers.

It's like the Sheriff with only 6 bullets against the lynch mob. He can't kill them all, but you don't know which 6 he will.

Lazy.

1) Nationwide vote totals in Presidential elections is the most irrelevant statistic in politics. It is literally meaningless, particularly when, as was the case in 2020, turnout was way up in every race across the board. Both sides in every state.

2) relative votes on a state by state basis is the only thing that matter.

I don’t give a shite if someone receives 60% of the nationwide vote and gets 100,000,000 total votes. It means nothing without 270 electoral votes.

Also, most of this discussion revolves around downballot candidate selection.

It’s very odd and sad that some of you seem to think that the country is in bad shape. The only explanation is that your side isn’t in power.

Republican states should set up escrow accounts for all tax payers within their state.

Federal taxes would be controlled by the state letting the individual tax payer free from irs penalties. The state would make demands of the federal government, such as audits of all government departments. Federal taxes would not be released until these demands are met.

That is a very interesting idea.

Not sure how something like that would get around Article 1 Section 8.
