Even if you’re a lock step Dem, if you’re not from L.A. or NYC why would you ever vote for this?

Doesn’t a majority of the states have to agree to an amendment to the constitution?

Well, one of these communist shills on here replied to me that the EC is racist (not sure how that's explainable) so why not. Our gov't is the equivalent to Nigerian gov't at this point.

If they can get this done, it makes the election stealing a LOT easier.

Los Angelos and NYC would be all they need.

I find it hard to believe they will be able to meet the vote threshold to pass any amendments.

It's laughable that Kyle thinks he can get 2/3 of the house of representatives and the senate to vote to approve his proposed amendment not to mention it also takes 3/4 of the states to ratify an amendment.

This is another example of drama queens doing what they do best.

They don't have a prayer in hell. The small states that get a slight edge in the Electoral College won't allow it so they are just posturing.

Perhaps, next the dems will try to get rid of the Senate for the same reasons...

Did they run on this prior to the election? I don’t recall hearing them promote this amendment

People don't understand the purpose of the EC. It will be disguised as another "common sense" change and people out there trust our rulers for some ridiculous reason.

2/3 House
2/3 Senate
3/4 State Legislatures

ETA: no chance.

Amendments have to be something we all pretty much agree on and not very controversial.

I thought the clowns on the left hated Thomas Jefferson. Why are they quoting him?

I thought every ideal and opinion slave holders help was bad... because they owned slaves?

These asshats are quoting Thomas Jefferson in the introduction, where Jefferson argued ancient laws should not constrain the enlightened progressive mind. I’m doubtful they are what Jefferson had in mind when he wrote that.
