Not an excuse. He can have Vance run point on these issues.

Like why didn’t he just start out with the tax bill? Get the cuts extended and it would have calmed markets with all the tariff stuff. Get a win and get some momentum.

He is rolling the dice on the big beautiful bill and there is a high probability it will tank.

I’d like some perspective that’s not copy/paste from mainstream media talking points.

I think i may have voted Republican for the last time. I can no longer, with a straight face, support this kind of bullshite. I mean - if there's some kind of grift I can get in on like all the other Reps, then sure. But that's probably about it.

What a gutless bunch.

That’s part of the issue as Half of the nation is riled up AGAINST these cuts

As they should be. Where we see waste and redundancies they see jobs and vitally important programs being cut.

But our side has majorities. This is the time to make things happen. Part of that is on Trump forcing the issues that need addressing. This is one of those battles.

Realistically we can email, leave messages at their offices, cut donations and ready primary opponents. Which are all important things. But hearing from Trump matters for you and I but also for the House members in order to bring them in line. He should make those talks public too. Sell the positives and what it means to his overall agenda. Give them no excuses.

Maybe the votes were pushed back and bills rescheduled because some RINOs need to be reined in. Why rush a vote now if there are folks ready to blow it up. Postpone it, whip the votes, then vote in a couple days when you know you have the votes. Make no mistake, plenty of GOPe uniparty pricks were benefitting from the USAID waste, fraud and money laundering too.

You’d think you’d whip the votes before you bring it to a vote. They control the process and the docket.

Call to mind "The Outlaw Josey Wales" when Captain Redleg's response to the Colonel's statement that "it will be over when we get Wales"...and the Captain replied "doing good don't have no end". The Dem Party (Socialist) believe that it is their moral duty to deliver services to the poor who can't cut it in the competitive Capitalist System. Albeit the Dems take a hefty slice of the massive 'House Money' as payment for their *altruism*.

Would be humorous if the ultimate scenario was not violent and painful.

We the people need to vote for better congressional representation if we want substantial and lasting change.

The main problem is most people do not participate in the primaries, so by the time of the general election you have two choices on the ballot; Mr. Worse or Mr. Worser. Our electoral system and the two party system needs to be completely overhauled in a Constitutional Convention, but gone are the days of real political scientists or an interested electorate. We instead have political idealists and a population wired on dopamine. Those of us that aren't are working long hours and don't have the bandwidth to do more than feign interest.

We need an Article 5 convention and an amendment that limits spending to a point it brings most of the power back to the states.

We need a one term limit for Congress. Inept rookies couldn't possibly be any worse than the self-serving careerists we have right now.

There's no way any decent and responsible person of average intelligence who loves this nation, is fair minded, with common sense could be worse than the schemers and scammers currently serving in Congress.....there's no way.

Give the average American who loves this constitutional republic a competent and honest staff and they would perform at a higher level than the scum in Congress today.

Some folks give me shite around here when I say this, but.... it doesn't negate my statement. We the people need to vote for better congressional representation if we want substantial and lasting change. Trumps victory has given us some breathing room and a good start, but we hold the power to change the federal government and we'd better take it seriously.

No one cares about voting other than voting for the president, which is a shame. People should take voting locally as serious as they do voting for the federal government. Local and state voting effects your life way more than the BS and non stop bickering that happens in DC.

For example. Look at the turnout for the Mayorsl race in lake Charles this past week. 14k showed up…..pitiful.

The bourgeoisie do not fear the proletariat.

If Trump 2.0 doesn't make inroads on reversing wealth consolidation through brazen globalization by the DC Uniparty Globalists and the Global Banking Cabal this constitutional republic is eventually going to implode to the glee of the CCP.

It's easy to convince greedy politicians to vote in your favor when you promise them that they can add their own pork to the bill.

It's hard to get greedy politicians to vote for you if the very foundation of your bill is removing excess spending.

He can bribe them like other presidents would, but that's the opposite of what his bill is meant for.

Would be like trump allies coming up with a bill that limits house terms to only 2. ...and then blaming trump for it not going through. The only way shite like that may pass is if the trump allies include some grandfather clauses that promise all current politicians that they're immune to the term limits , and it only applies to those elected after the bill is passed. Which would defeat the purpose of the initial bill.
