I've seen juries do dumber things...I hope not (if these facts get proven in a court of law) but to quote George Carlin..

"think of how dumb the average American is...and remember that half of us are dumber than that."

i think the video will tell the tale, if there is indeed video. i tend to side with the guys on most of these situations, but, as i said before, this one is all the way out of the grey area from what i see. the driver's comments are pretty damning. is the driver the one that was 30? what the frick was he even doing with these kids?

Real issue is would a manslaughter charge stick.

Clearly it is rape (first degree) and video voyeurism.

Other crimes may come to light after the defense attorney hands over his video.

If they emailed the sex video to anyone, those receiving it and watching it could also be charged with video voyeurism.

Which makes the 30 year old the passenger based on the charges.

What a fricking loser. He should kill himself.

This is mostly overhyped nonsense. If you’re not trying to be in the Fortune 500 C suite, a politician or a handful of other jobs, the difference between attending Columbia and Auburn from a job perspective is negligible.

Probably a slight exaggeration but not by much.

The connections by going Ivy League are what make the difference, not the education from what I’ve seen.

If you aren’t trying to work in either a high end company or aren’t working in an area where that college gives you a massive leg up via networking, the quality of the education is the same at a cheaper school.

Ivy League credentials are only relevant if you want jobs in an area or field populated solely by Ivy League nepotism hires. No one else gives a shite where you got your degree. The Ivy's actual level of education is no different than most other high-education institutions.

It’s absolutely not. You’re a victim of advertising and hype.

I wouldn’t argue that the quality of the education is the same. And I would agree that networking is happening at a completely different level at the Ivy’s.

Applying for a non-C-suite job at Boeing with a degree from Iowa State or Columbia isn’t going to make a huge difference.
