I'd like to see the major powers of the world isolate China. Let's subsidize their moves and stop buying from China. Once the people start losing food there they will riot. China will lose control. Atrocities will happen but they chose this life

If Russia would get its foreign policy out of the 1970's and realize that everything does not *have* to be about undermining the US and Europe, they would realize that Chinese domination is not good for them either. If the Cold War blinders would come off on either side, Washington/Brussels and Moscow have more common interests than sticking points.
The 20th Century did irreparable damage to Russia and its relationships with the US/Western Europe, sadly. They were firm allies with France for a couple of centuries. To this day they remain the only major western state we have never taken up arms against.

They've got a back-up plan for that which I have been alluding to, but we should still do what you are saying. Xi and CCP know they can't survive another Great Leap Forward. The Chinese people are now decently westernized and know about the outside world. They know that they, their mothers, and fathers were forcibly sterilized and that they lost hundreds of millions of children, brothers, and sisters to this tyrannical regime. The Millennials over there are financially fricked since they will be responsible for taking care of 4 parents and possibly other grandparents on top of that when that used to be spread out among cousins.
And most frighteningly of all for us there are tens of millions of excess men who will never have a spouse or get laid by anything other than a prostitute. What do you do with excess men? You put them in the military. This is more 10 years down the line, but that could be a very terrifying factor compared to us on how many people they can put into their military compared to us.
But if the Chinese people starve in mass again, they'll drag Xi and all his cohorts onto Tiananmen Square and kill them before the world. Also hopefully they'll burn down Mao's picture over the Forbidden City and desecrate his mummified corpse all in front of the cameras. They're not going to put up with that shite again.

Quantity may have a quality of its own but human wave attacks aren’t nearly as effective these days given the advances in smart munitions and various other platforms.

Well they'll do that, but I don't think China has any remote plans to actually invade them. Taiwan they do, but not Japan even though they'd cum buckets in retaliation for the Second Sino Japanese War.

Many in the U.S. should also get its foreign policy out of the 1970's. Russia, Russia, Russia over the last three years is driving the Russians right into the Chinese arms as we speak.
