The crazy part about it is it could be lower if people weren’t so lazy. Almost every job sector is looking for people still. Also it’s not just low paying jobs high paying jobs are paying even more to get talent.

Here are the latest state by state statistics. That bunch of slackers in the bottom ten are dragging the average down. Then there is Vermont at 2.1% N.Dakota at 2.4% and Iowa and New Hampshire at 2.5%.
