And used a pos immigration lawyer to help them lie?
What percentage of lawyers in this country are just tumors?

On a personal level, I do feel sorry for her. She’s probably a good kid. But we’re not a country if we don’t enforce these laws. I couldn’t just show up in Honduras and just live off the books. I blame Biden and the Dems for all these human tragedies.

If she were a violent criminal Boasberg would block the deportation.
Instead we paid to educate her for 15 years, in a profession where we have a shortage of workers, and THEN sent her back.
Retarded. And by retarded I mean in the literal sense of sub 80 IQ.

How many opportunities do you think she took away from American kids over her lifetime? Tops? Scholarships? A spot in nursing school?

This should not be a consideration.

Here is my issue.
She should have been paying taxes and living her life as a productive member of society. And if she was to be deported, she should have been arrested one week and deported the next. What's up with 6 months of detention? And at taxpayer expense? Tens of thousands of dollars of costs to the taxpayer. so, what's the point of that. Deport her or release her.
Also-for the record-and to break with all you guys-these are the ones we want to keep. Keep the educated nurses who pay taxes and pull for LSU and would make a good wife for a good baw. And deport the criminals and the parasites.

Honduras and Nicaragua have had asylum status for at least 8 or 9 years. The drug gangs down their have overwhelmed police and kidnapping and gang violence are rampant.

Why is LSU even allowed to enroll illegals? Seriously.

Not anymore
quote:
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officially terminated the TPS designation for both countries, with the terminations becoming effective on September 8, 2025. The decision was made based on a determination by the Secretary of Homeland Security that conditions in both countries had improved enough to no longer support the need for temporary protected status
It was never asylum. It was only TPS
quote:
Asylum vs. TPS: TPS is a temporary, humanitarian form of relief and not the same as asylum status, which is a form of protection granted to individuals who can prove they have a well-founded fear of persecution in their home country.

The murder rate in New Orleans is very similar to that in Honduras. This is a stupid reason to grant someone asylum.

Not guilty in her pre-torta form, once she hits the torta wall then she's gotta go back.

The law is the law. Either she is he illegally or she isn't. What subjective or ambiguous considerations are there?

Well yes, that's is a crime. God forbid we enforce our laws.

* Palacios says she was in the process of renewing her brake tag
* Louisiana State Trooper ran her identification (translation: traffic violation)
* asked for a reason for the arrest and to see a warrant (someone giving her bad advice)
* her immigration case — which Palacios believed was administratively closed
* she had missed her hearing
* she was ineligible for bond
* ICE New Orleans said Palacios has been in the U.S. illegally for the past 15 years (since whe was 6 yrs old)
* "her family declined to find a way for her to obtain legal status"
* The only crime the you can say we committed is that we entered the country illegally
1) Sounds like she let a lot of things slide
2) This is a job Americans will do
3) Not a shining example of a nurse you want working on you
