Gee, I cannot imagine why??

Of course, the author leaves off a few glaring reasons:
- bricks thrown through your car and home windows sucks
- arson too
- homeless feces everywhere, everywhere, everywhere
- and urine too
- protestors turn 25 minute commutes into half-day ordeals

Report: More Seattle-area residents selling their homes, leaving the area

quote:

SEATTLE - More and more people are seeking to sell their homes and move out of Seattle area, according to a newly released report.

The report, by Seattle-based online residential real estate company Redfin, found that the number of home sellers looking to leave the Seattle metro area has jumped to 13.7%, compared with 11.2% at the same time last year.

Meanwhile, the net outflow of homeowners from Seattle has soared from 363 in the second quarter of last year to 6,007 in the second quarter of this year - a jump of more than 1,500%.

There are several reasons for the huge increase in homeowners seeking to leave Seattle in their rear view mirror, according to the report. Among them:

Low mortgage rates and changes in what people want in a home are providing an incentive to people who were already considering a move to another area.

More Seattle-area employers are offering flexible remote work policies, which frees workers from having to live in this part of the country.

A significant percentage of people are looking to move from the Seattle area to a more affordable market or closer to family.

The coronavirus pandemic is preventing Seattle-area residents from fully enjoying local amenities, which lowers the incentive to live here.

"As we enter the second half of the year, I expect more people to move from one part of the country to another as the pandemic continues to influence people's priorities and lifestyles," said Redfin economist Taylor Marr.

The rental market east of the city has been nuts. I went house/apt searching over the past month and basically needed to write a check on the spot if I found a place I liked. Tons of people moving out of the city to surrounding suburbs

The bad news is that they'll immediately try to take over where they live and push the little people around. They'll demand the same stupid policies that made Seattle what it is.

I’m Leaving Seattle for Texas So My Employees Can Be Free - WSJ
By Peter Rex

quote:

Perhaps my biggest concern is that the region’s political orthodoxy has left little room for religious belief. In both San Francisco and Seattle, many of our Christian and Muslim friends and employees have expressed concern that their deeply held views are being driven from the public square. They worry that stating their views publicly will lead to being shunned or attacked. It has been disheartening to learn how closed the most “open” minds can be.

quote:

That’s why we’re leaving the West Coast and heading to Texas. When it comes to talent, we’re confident we can attract the best without finding the same homogeneity of views. When it comes to housing, families making $100,000 to $200,000 a year can afford a good-size place. The policy environment in Texas encourages risk-taking and rewards workers. When it comes to schools, there are plenty of great options that don’t confuse indoctrination with education. And on matters of faith and morals, religious belief doesn’t make you a social outcast. In Texas, the quintessential American ideals of family, faith and freedom still reign supreme.

They should be forced to stay there and live with the consequences of their voting habits. Don’t bring the shite show with you to another city.

A wonderful, beautiful city ruined by the plague of leftist locusts. The irony is that 50 miles outside of Seattle, you run into some of the deepest red parts of the country too.

How do you take one of the most beautiful places on the planet and turn it into Pyongyang? Ask the Democrat Governor, who is missing in action, the Democrat Mayor, who think she lives on Fantasy Island, and the Red Tards on the City Council.

This is why Trump will win in a landslide if mail in voting, and harvesting doesn't happen.

I feel the polls this time around will be more incorrect than 16'. My mom is retired and answered at least 4 polls so far. She says she lied her butt off, and couldn't wait to vote For sleepy Joe..
