Homeland Sec Committee Dems concerned about BORTAC’s authorityin stopping Uvalde shooter
Posted by Jbird

@Anna_Giaritelli
House Democrats intend to hold a hearing to determine exactly what legal authority Border Patrol/ICE agents had to have gotten involved in (and stopped) the Uvalde shooting and potential future incidents
At the same time, Homeland Dems “commend” federal agents for saving the day

I feel like I'm being spun around in a gunny sack.

ETA: Things like this just add fuel to the conspiracy theory fire that these events are orchestrated by nefarious actors.

That guy who grabbed an old shotgun and charged in their had a daughter at the school. That is all the authority you need.
Local law enforcement went weak kneed and Border Patrol stepped up

They must have wanted the death toll to be higher….Seems like Dems wanted “The deadliest school shooting “ headline, and this dude didn’t give it to them…

Yeah, think he was off duty, and not acting in his official capacity, other than “ I’m dad, stfu”….

Wasn’t the border patrol agent a parent? Or spouse of a teacher?

Translation:
Border Patrol/ICE agents interfered with a false flag operation and the DEMS wanted a higher death count.

I mean, is that not what they did to our military for the past few decades?

You are a lawyer, correct?
It might not be the legal or proper procedural thing to do... but I do believe we'd both agree that in that scenario, anyone with the situational circumstances that would allow them to summarily put down the threat with extreme prejudice, should do just that.
If I've got a kid in a classroom with a gunman and the cops are doing nothing and trying to hold me back, I'll disobey and deal with the consequences later. They can shoot me in the back or put me in jail after I save some kids. Ironically, I probably actually would get put in jail for carrying a firearm into a school. But if I find myself in an advantageous position to end the threat, I'll take it.

The border patrol interferes with their agenda. They wanted MOREA kids to be shot.
These people are evil

So they are going to try and jack this dude up and make an example of him?
For protecting his wife and daughter (not to mention all the rest of the wives and kids)
That seems like the Dem way.

quote:Or, tinfoil engaged, they want to show that a stronger federal presence is needed in all schools, since offduty feds are better than locals. And if you want that federal presence, you will follow our rules, further entrenching themselves. They never pass up an opportunity.

Would not be the least bit surprised if he ends up facing criminal charges over this.
They can try.
I see a jury nullification if they manage to get it to trial and a bunch of questions as to why the guy who stopped the shooter is being punished but not the cops who refused to act.
