So we should contact Brad Little, Governor of Idaho and tell him he can't come?

CPAC is really cool and if you all ever have a chance to go it's well worth it. It's very much MAGA Trump centric however but still a blast. I got to meet and shake hands with Steve Bannon who hosted War Room live, Nigel Farage, Viktor Orban, Mike Lindell, and a whole host of other people. Trump spoke at the key note dinner. I have heard Trump speak in person a couple of times and he is always great and gets the crowd fired up.

Unless I missed it, I didn't see ANY governors on the list, and Rs have a good, deep bench of governors.

DeSantis didn't attend back in August either and remember noticing that....

Again this is definitely a Trump dominated event for sure. Not a criticism just is what it is......

Governors typically don't go to these events. That was my point. A few do yes, but not all.

I would think you'd appreciate his willingness to not rain on DT's parade. Can you imagine how disturbed Trump would become if DeSantis got an enthusiastic welcome?

And shouldn't you be starting a thread questioning Trump's establishment fighting credentials given he's CPACing with so many GOPe?

Maybe where the other republican governors are that are not on the line-up, running their states. You would think Gov. Sarah Sanders might be on the list being a woman and the youngest governor in the country but yet she isn't.

But Ron put out an ad, just last year, that was nothing but a Trump suck fest. Do you need me to link it?

This may signal that Ron isnt really running. CPAC always does a straw poll of people in attendance, and likely would show Trump crushing Ron. Ron cant have that being talked about right before he announces

Some folks I like on their speakers list, but CPAC has become more and more of a clown show

My guess is that Trump told them they can’t invite Desantis if they want Trump.
