That’s a franchisee decision not the parent company. Looks like Everpeak Hotels is the franchisee group. Based on current information, sounds like it was a dumb decision from a Front Office Manager or two who will either be severely reprimanded or unemployed shortly.

Yep, that’s sorta’ what I was thinking about. If ICE were booking under their existing government contract, they would undoubtedly have hooks n the contract that address this issue
