Bingo. People don’t realize that most chain hotels are franchised and locally operated.

This thread is hilarious.
Government contracts should use Trump hotels only worldwide.

This hotel is about to get dropped by Hilton and will turn into some dogshit knock off local brand like every Indian owned motel after they’re booted from a national brand for being a shithole.

Not good enough. If Hilton can't control how all their employees/franchisees act they need to have all their locations boycotted and ran into the ground until they are sold to some Saudi investment group

Titanium with Marriott. Was thinking about switching to Hilton this year. No more.

This is the equivalent of boycotting McDonald's because a cashier doesn't want to serve a cop.

Regardless of the reason for the boycott itll be good to destroy another corporation.

Oh, you are so wise! Thank you for the Major distinction.
It is Lifetime Diamond. Aluminum card. Lifetime discount.

Boycotting? Nah. Just not going to make the switch. I’m in a hotel 100 nights a year. I’ll just stay with Marriott.

That wasn't meant for you, it was a statement in general for the people equating this to Bud Light and trying to create the same backlash

The company seems to be doing the right thing now. Funny how it takes a groundswell to get their attention.
Now, only this Hilton or whatever it is now called should be written off.

This thread is ignorantly embarrassing.
Hilton, Inc. immediately made a strong public statement (WSJ) condemning the action of the franchisee and pulled their franchise today after they (Hilton) were informed that the hotel's iwner still wasn't following policy.
They likely were going to pull it anyway, they just expedited the process.
Comparing this to the Bud Light deal, or thinking Hilton, Inc would actually be behind this is ridiculous.
