You could have a room full of progs and give them the crime statistics of Boise, ID and Birmingham, AL, and ask them why they thought there was such a big difference between two similar size cities.

So how is Russian crime rate? Serbia? How is Naples? Marseille? It also helps when most of the population is in 1 city, one that never saw the likes of Robert Moses types.

In addition to all the other cultural differences Iceland has fewer people than our least populous state. It’s a third of the size of Birmingham FFS. It’s an idiotic comparison.
