The Great Twitter Purge started just moments after President Trump was permanently suspended from the social media platform.
Hundreds of thousands of followers have been deleted and it’s only getting worse. Fox News Channel’s Brian Kilmeade reports losing 30,000 followers in just four hours.
Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley condemned Twitter’s decision to silence the president.
“Silencing people, not to mention the President of the US, is what happens in China not our country,” she tweeted, adding the hashtag #Unbelievable.

Combination of discrimination and people giving the double bird to Twitter and deleting their accounts, I'd think. But Twitter would be that petty to scrub the site of anyone pro-Trump, too. I don't miss it.

It’s a purge. My wife has been purged and she’s a lightweight. I’ve warned her about it, but she enjoyed sharing with other likeminded people.

Yeah, that's the word my wife said this morning. Almost all of her followers are gone because of purging.

I'd lean more towards it's people leaving. They were struggling before Trump and I can't wait to see the actual numbers. I know I deactivated mine minutes after hearing they banned Trump.

I deleted my account last night. I only had about 120 followers-but this whole thing freaks me out. I used it to follow various journalists and pundits and just randos who I thought were interesting.
I think it’s some combo of Twitter purge and people just leaving. I would love to see some kind of statistic.
