In theory I would agree to some kind of "amnesty" if we could also get more teeth to fine/imprison business owners that continue to break the law afterwards.

But since this is "bipartisan" I guarantee we are getting screwed.

Trump has been pushing this for at least 3 weeks. I've been following it.

He came out in favor of it, then backtracked after getting a negative response. Then after the BBB, he came back out in full support of it.
Yep. I think he even said those of us that don't support it are "hard right"

Having 2-3 seasons of ag production completely derailed is a major issue.

Rewarding people who came here illegally by allowing them to jump the line and also giving corporations and exemption to penalties for hiring them in the first place is a major issue IMO.

You punish the farms and people who did things right and that's fricked up.

There certainly should be a process/ priority status on this subject.

Anyone that has a record, you are gone.
Anyone that has been working in ag for over 5 years, has temp status, but pays small ag fee in additional taxes.
Anyone that has been working in ag for less, is clean, should have to pay additional ag tax fee.

want to stay, you have to pay. no free healthcare

Yeah, we're the "Radical right".

But apparently, we're all supposed to understand be ok with it because he said so.

Look I understand. It's a touch pickle. That's always been the risk of the anti-illegal rhetoric Trump has pushed. Now its time to deal with the tough results of that policy.

Find a way to bag all that BS that comes out of you and you'd be a billionaire by the end of the month selling organic fertilizer.

Funny how it's always Republicans that give amnesty to illegal immigrants.

Like I said last week, MAGA will be in full support of this soon.

It's not a tough pickle at all, it's very simple.

If you are illegal, you go away.

If you hired illegals, you get penalties.

No amnesty, no exemptions.

Tell me why this farm should be punished? They have done things right for years, endured the extra costs - unlike the big corporations Trump wants to bail out.

Yeah, Reagan tried that. Within five years, there were like two amnestied workers still working on farms. They all left to work construction or food trucks and the farmers were once again crying for more laborers.

Now, I generally back farmers, but there's already a farm worker program in place to get workers. They should use it. If it's cumbersome, lobby for changes. Amnesty does nothing but empty your employee ranks.

If we cannot function as a society without slave labor, then we should not exist.

At this point, it's clear that Trump is going to protect (in some way or another) tons of illegals in targeted industries (Ag, hospitality, etc.).

MAGA/AF just has to accept this.
Accept it? Hell, they’ll cheer it on and call it 37-5/8ths degree chess. Like they did all of his other FlipFlops.

"Charlie Kirk is doing an entire opening monologue explaining how high-level corporate leaders are pushing President Trump to sign a bipartisan mass amnesty deal focusing on agriculture"

Ok. First of all, "agriculture" is code for every single industry in this country that relies on imported labor. This shite isn't stopping at agriculture, and only a dumdum believes that.

And secondly, he doesn't have to grant any kind of amnesty. All he has has to do is keep doing what he's been doing, which is this bullshite light and sound show with these urban ICE porn raids and dumb shite like "Alligator Alcatraz".

There won't be "mass deportations". There doesn't need to be. Throw MAGA some isolated deportation red meat here and there, and they're satisfied. They fall for it every time.

This country is addicted to cheap imported labor and our President will absolutely continue to feed that addiction.

1000%. You can overcome economic hardship. You cannot overcome bad demographics. They all need to get the frick out
