Even getting downward price momentum (getting it below $4/gallon nationally between now and then) would be a big help.

The problem is some states like Georgia have temporarily removed the state gas tax which is skewing prices even lower than they would be but they are still high. As soon as that is removed its an automatic 33.3 cents per gallon increase on gasoline and 37.3 cents per gallon on diesel......

They even chastised anyone who voiced displeasure over it.

MAGA is reduced to telling posters on here to:
"quit buying lottery tickets!!!"
"walk more instead of drive"
"adjusted for inflation gasoline is cheaper now than it was under Bill Clinton!!!"
Make it make sense.

Just because someone disagrees with Trump on particular issues doesn't mean they vote, are going to vote, or are encouraging people to vote for the dems.

When all you do is bitch about Trump, you are encouraging people to vote for dems or to not vote at all.

You don't actually have to say specific words to influence behavior. Humans pick up on your sentiment regardless of the words used.

Your posts would be more effective and better received if you didn't resort to invective and ad hominem imo.

Trump has had 22 months to convince Americans his policies were good, and he's failed at that miserably.

I thought he got off to a really good start, but Iran has been his albatross.

The GOP will lose both chambers imo. I doubt there is anything Trump can do about it now.

Dang, all those liberals must've been really pissed under biden if inflation is really what they care about. His inflation rates were astronomical. They lied every time about jobs numbers.

I think everyone was pissed about high post pandemic inflation. Our economy recovered quicker than the rest of the world from those high inflation numbers.

Inflation when Biden left office 3%
Current inflation 3.7%
Wage growth 3%

The guy ran on eliminating inflation and it continues to climb. That paired with slower wage growth is a recipe for disaster

Wasn't this the GOP talking point in 2024, too?

What a fun merry-go-round we're on.

I agree with this. ...and whether the Marxists want to admit it, they also realize he started strong.

If he could end this immediately it would really help.

For what?

For agreeing that Trump himself gave the Dems their talking points for this cycle? For thinking that Trump stepped on his dick with Iran? For thinking Trump should have stayed on his America First push that lowered prices for Americans instead of doing the bidding of Israel after he claimed we destroyed their nuke capabilities in Midnight Hammer? For thinking you can generally support a politician, but disagree with aspects of their policy?

Which of those makes me a communist? I'll hang up and listen

When Biden was President high gasoline, high groceries, high mortgage rates, etc were all his fault, Now, all the sudden when Trump is 21 months into his term none of that is his fault and we aren't allowed to discuss it and if we try and discuss gasoline prices its all the sudden *checks notes* 'crying'

Make it make sense.

DeBoar doesn't explain anything. He is MAGA to the core and as soon as you call him on something, he starts calling you names....you know like Trump does when he is confronted with tough questions.

He’s a Trumpanican beta doing the work of his Alpha.

It’s clear to see the tide change on the viewpoint of Trump. He’s looking more and more like Trump the promoter than Trump the man of substance. He’s certainly not a true conservative in the traditional sense.

And MAGA doesnt really have much meaning anymore. It was a pretty slick campaign slogan but it’s proving to be a slogan more than anything.
