Here’s the complaint filed by SWB in her lawsuit against St. George

Complaint
Jesus. The plaintiff ME Cormier, I don’t understand how they even have standing to sue.
SWB calls the organizers “self-appointed and self-anointed citizens” who started the St George petition. You mean regular citizens? This looks like an attack on democracy.
The whole thing reeks of butt hurt. The recurring theme is the harm to Baton Rouge. You know, I’m sure the US incorporating as a nation and breaking off from Great Britain caused the British harm, should we go back to being a colony again?
I get looking out for self interest, but SWB comes off as a mad king in this lawsuit.
In the relief they’re seeking, in the event the court moves to grant incorporation, they want a vote on the matter to the entire parish. Again, why the frick would people who don’t live in St George have a voting day in it becoming a municipality? What’s next, let the entire European Union vote on Brexit? These people clearly hate the idea of self determination.

If St. George would have gotten behind JBE this wouldn’t be an issue.

That’s as asinine as having the LA governor’s be nation wide. Same argument could be made that choices Louisiana’s leaders (or any state) make are adverse to other states.

Exactly. Like making the Brexit vote open to the entire European Union.

In or about 2014, three unelected, self-appointed and self-anointed citizens in the southeast portion of the unincorporated area of the Parish of East Baton Rouge formulated an idea to create the "City of St. George" and, in doing so, arbitrarily creataed boundaries around their self-proclaimed proposed city.
Isn't that how every US city becomes incorporated?

Read between the lines. Here's what is really being said:
The leaches in BR want a say in whether or not the StG tax base gets to keep its own tax dollars.
It's essentially admitting that BR underserved the StG tax base.
Can StG form it's own parish next and surely be rid of the BR anchor?

How is keeping more taxpaying citizens in the parish a bad thing? Would SWB, et al, prefer they move out of the parish to pay taxes in Livingston, Ascension, and West Feliciana?

That’s a good point, but happens over time. This would be a very heavy sword swing to the tax base of Baron Rouge over night.
I moved to St. Tammany last year after living in Baton Rouge for 19 years. I wasn’t going to wait for that place to get its act together.

Must have been sitting in front of her "mirror, mirror on the wall....." when she penned this

Read it and, sure enough, they threw in a “Racism!” claim. It’s like SWB demanded they add it. They are rolling along making legal arguments and then, right in the middle, “oh yeah and they are racists too!” Then they go right back to the other legal arguments.

I watched Lawrence of Arabia last night. Under Lawrence the Arabs took Damascus, but couldn't hold it because they were too ignorant to run the utilities (water, electricity, phones lines, hospitals, etc). Basically, they couldn't run the city without the help of the British (whiteys).

Yeah, on page 9 and 10 lol. I love how they're assuming all those minority voters are Democrats and vote Democrat. Plantation mentality.

Now why the hell wouldn't the people of St. George want her as their mayor? Can't figure it out?

Literally everyone seeking to do anything is "self anointed"
I "self anointed" myself for the job I'm in by seeking them to hire me.
Both Trump and Hillary "self anointed" themselves to run as Presidential candidates seeking enough votes to actually win.
And, citizens who hope to have SG separate, self anointed themselves to go out and see if they could get enough people to agree with them.
The term "self anointed" is utterly meaningless and is nothing more than a phrase used by other self anointed people to imply a lack of legitimacy.
