Not me. Old Chuck was a Nazi sympathizer. Had some wonderful things to say about Hitler before WW2 slapped his trap shut.

I was unaware of those sympathies. I stand corrected.

Robert E Lee should be there. Even Eisenhower thought he was one of the four greatest Americans that ever lived.

Lindbergh’s aviation heroics coupled with the public’s anguish over the kidnapping and murder of his young child should have been enough to afford him a lifetime of goodwill — but that isn’t what happened. Instead, he performed one of the most notorious heel-turns in American history and revealed himself to be a nativist anti-Semite, and possibly even a Nazi-sympathizer, to the shock of the American public.

Lindbergh would spend the years leading up to World War II actively campaigning to “protect the white race” and for the U.S. to maintain strict neutrality toward Nazi Germany. He even flew to Germany to receive a medal in person from Hermann Göring, the infamous commander of Nazi Germany’s Luftwaffe, on behalf of Adolph Hitler himself.

frick Charles Lindbergh

I'm guessing/hoping that this park will have room to expand and add.

Is this a public or private endeavor? I’m not a fan of the proposal if it is to be funded by taxpayers.

Not particularly because of any of the names listed here — but because progs idolize filthy degenerates and will push for their inclusion in such a space. No matter how good and decent the initial idea, anything progs touch, they will destroy.

I'll add

Abraham Woodhall-Culper spy ring that led to many US victories in the American Revolution.

Ida B Wells - first Rosa Parks, Republican journalist that would later be a leader in the civil rights for Blacks.

Mary Jackson- First Female American engineer that worked for NASA and helped get us to the moon

Sacajawea - we know why. Damn white boys would have been lost without her.

Eddie Robinson - Arguably one of the greatest FB coaches ever and without a doubt the best Black FB coach in history.

I also wouldn't mind all the confederate statues placed in a museum. I'll even allow BLM leaders to write the plaques and allow them to throw multicolored paint balloons. That way they can take out some built-up frustration but also support LGBTQ.

Kidding aside they should remain intact, but in a museum, so future generations can learn of the mistakes, inaction, and one of the few failures of the founding fathers when they didn't abolish slavery from the start.

How do you leave off:
Neil Armstrong
Alexander Bell
Albert Einstein
Elvis Presley
Steve Jobs

The list could go on. There are some odd choices in their list. Also some glaring omissions. Armstrong being #1.
