He wasn't. He had been to Germany and seen the Luftwaffe and German military machine. He didn't think we could take them, and like his isolationist father, he didn't want to engage in war with anyone who hadn't attacked us.

But yes, pointed out that the jewish controlled newspapers were the ones campaigning for war. This was not a figment of his imagination.

But, after we'd entered the war, he did fly multiple missions for the Allies, including a few combat missions, though Roosevelt denied him entry into the USAAF.

Try to watch less HBO bullshite.

My vote would have gone to El Onizuka (first U.S. astronaut of Asian descent in space).
