What’s your solution?

Yall need to convince people that your policies are best.

The party is listless. You cant force people to follow your stuff, you have to convince people its in their best interest, and your guy is the best person to do it.

MAGA is antagonistic, its not coalition-building. This shite will continue to fall apart until you get someone who has leadership and other Republicans' trust.

Then volunteer. All those old women on library boards, election boards, etc are mostly Democrat. They outwork the right.

The left spent decades building a network of activists, the MAGA approach is to just spoil the cart and then reload.

Change will take decades to complete. Its a slow, methodical process and not something that can be done by Executive Order.

Make better choices, Go volunteer. Thats how things chance. There is no outside force thats going to save us, its all up to us.

Every election cycle the Republicans go along with the Democrats and pass the Omnibus Bill that averts the supposedly calamitous‘ government shutdown’, and the massive monies in that Bill is then used by the Dems to defeat Republicans. The Republican cucks that vote to pass it push the ludicrous narrative that they voted for the Bill so that Republicans would not be viewed as radicals and can then win next election. Ha ha. Anybody with a real high school diploma can see this is BS. The only thing left to see re the coming Authoritarian governance of this formerly free Nation is which or whether a losing side is willing to start the dogfight that always determines which Side ultimately holds the formal Authority. We know the Dems will pull the trigger so the question remains as to whether the Constitutional Republic patriots will. IMO, they won’t, and Fascism will rule the day. At least until the USD collapses and “the Great Reset” scenario happens. Likely the Book of Revelations “ from there forward to glory for some and hellfire for others. Lord have mercy on them who love.

Do you need me to explain 2nd grade terms?

Do we vote to select representatives? Yes and yes.

Voting = democracy
Republic = representative government

Add them together: democratic republic

*ETA: do you prefer "representative democracy" instead?

the 2 parties have gerrymandered the districts so much that it is nearly impossible to vote someone out once they have been elected. if every district was a tossup each election, then reps would be accountable for their votes. as it is now, they are not accountable.

Because I was right again?

MAGA taking a huge L (once again) implies they are, in fact, the loser of this story.

Oh look, GOPe voters once again celebrating the downfall of our country. I would be shocked, but aligning with the left against the only group that values America's founding principles is something they've been doing for years.

It's amazing how quickly "I only care about policy" became "at least MAGA lost." A smart person might think these people aren't the "true conservatives" they claim to be.

Uh-oh. I guess we're now the "Democratic Republic of America" now, huh?

What other nations have used that term through history?
Deutsche Demokratische Republic (German Democratic Republic, aka East Germany - Communist)
Somali Democratic Republic
Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka
Democratic Republic of Vietnam
Democratic Republic of Korea
People's Democratic Republic of Algeria
Lao People's Democratic Republic...

How many of these are free countries and how many are/were despotic shitholes?

Once the term "Democratic Republic" is used to describe a nation, you can rest assured that it is not a republic and it most certainly is not democratic in any sense of the word.

It's simple. If MAGA was really popular, they would have more than about 8 seats in the House and maybe 1 Senator.

It's very difficult to defeat the entrenched establishment republicans and their D.C. Donors

no.

Do we vote (a democracy)?

Do we elect representatives to govern for us (a republic)?
