That’s my thought.

He killed them so he could rob them. It was just his bad luck that he wasn’t finished ransacking the house when the electrical contractors showed up.

I’d love to know the specific “handyman” skills that Cordarius possessed.

This is why parents should not name their children after Ancient Roman Generals.

You don't understand systemic racism, cracker!

Oh, but I do! When I worked my first job after college, the end of the shift typically came at around midnight or 1 a.m. I had a relatively short 5-10 minute walk back to my apartment.
Local cops stopped me a handful of times in those two years to make sure I wasn't doing any wild home invasions or casing homes for burglary at 1 am.
And I managed to show my ID and tell them where I worked each time. No gunfire, no taser. No frick you mf-ers!

No good deed goes unpunished. Tragic. Prayers for the victims who gave this kid a chance and tried to help him... only to have their good intentions backfire on them in the worst possible way.

Sounds like Gramps is overlooking the fact that his little angel tried to shoot it out with The Man.

Precisely what caught my eye while reading the OP.

A well-placed hard "R" would've had this kid avoiding the victims like the plague.

Well it's not just that. Low IQ parents

When did that turn plural for most of these folks?
Many of them are raised by angry, violent, single mothers who only bore them to increase their welfare check amounts.

I get so sick of the systemic racism stuff. The idea that this kid showed up they were murdered, didn’t contact law enforcement, and then engaged in a shootout with cops is crazy. We have very good example of what happens when you contact police in the case Clyde Edward’s Helaire. Guy tried to rob him and another player, and they ultimately shot and killed the dude. They called it in and explained what had occurred, and the cops determined self defense. It’s not that hard.
