Getting knocked up at 15 or incarcerated at 18 can do that to you.

Fear.
Pride.
Money.

Probably not in that order.

I mean some of these people you're talking about do not have the money to cover their monthly liabilities and you think they have the resources to move? What you're saying sounds good on paper, but that's about it, doesn't mean it's realistic.

Well, barely getting by on government assistance isn't a great alternative.
And, can't the government mail checks to more scenic locals?

Because hatbis where their mom lives and their support system made upnof other failures. This is the prime example of why we need to start the draft back and put 18 year old men in the military for two years, they leave home and that gives them the opportunity to see different things and grow up. The military was the best decision I ever made in my life and it is also important to learn to setve and then appreciate our country and how great it truly is.

same for me and my military decision, but I think the all-volunteer force is part of the reason it's the best in the world. I wouldn't have wanted to be out there with someone who didn't willingly sign on the line.

The draft should be only for crazy circumstances should they ever again arise and for all able bodied men and women.

Well I am neither young nor poor and still live on the Northshore, where I grew up. I decided to stay here because I like the area and wanted my kids to grow up around family.

It's sounds like you're depressed that you are living in the same trailer park your parents and grandparents grew up in.

Parents and grandparents are still supporting young and poor, and raising those kids for the most part.

It's no surprise poor people are afraid to leave their support system.

A lot of them are poor because they don't value education which means they might not be the most curious or proactive of people.

Sure, their financial situation might not change if they moved, but the scenery could.
If they move and don't get a job, their financial situation has gotten worse due to the unnecessary expenses incurred moving.

Heck, Illegals risk greater harm and peril to go to a better place, and yet they do it. Some send young kids unaccompanied for a chance at something better.
American's can dream too!

I'm not talking about people who are satisfied with their current situation.

their current situation probably isn't as bad as those who risk it to come here illegally.
