I was asked if I needed a mask at Walmart a couple weeks ago. I asked if it was required and they said it wasn't but was recommended, so I declined and went on my way.

I’m a real estate agent and the only incident happened to myself and a client. So I was set to show a duplex to an investor client, the other agent didn’t warn me the owner would be home on one side. This was probably last April, so I had my mask on when I showed up, etc….my client hadn’t yet arrived so I went to open up the vacant side. I saw the other door was open and the owner and I exchanged a greeting. I had some issues getting the key for the vacant side, so I knocked on the screen for a cpl times to ask the lady if she could help with no answer. I gently opened the screen door to call for her, she runs out screaming at me that I was invading her house, etc I apologize she calms down. Client shows up maskless, she opens the other door and doesn’t say a word. We go on about our business, I then notice she’s lurking around the house which is kinda aggravating, but whatever. My client then asked if we could look at the other side, but was concerned the homeowner wouldn’t agree since he forgot his mask. She then just randomly appears to tell us she’s going to the store and will be back in 30 and we can see the other side then. I had another appointment so I was polite in asking if we could do it now, and then I politely ask if my client needs a mask, she said yes. I told her I may have an extra in my truck, let me see. Turns out nothing, I go and start to apologize and she starts screaming at me. Telling me she’s going to blast me on social media, I was killing people, etc. Clients friend pulls up Bc he wanted to look as well, and she runs out to him in his truck screaming at him, asking wtf he is looking at.

One of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen.

Nope.

I don't wear a mask.

I'm vaccinated and the issue isn't transmission, it's hospitalization. The virus will transmit no matter what happens.

People should get vaccinated so they don't get hospitalized if they're vulnerable. That's the entire problem - vulnerable people haven't got vaccinated in the numbers they should so they overwhelm hospitals.

Not my problem any more.

Karen got me in Autozone while I was buying a mower battery and a few more things. I was standing in line to check out and she yells (from behind the counter) "Sir do you need a mask"? I told her nope I was good and she informed me I HAD to have one in their store. I dropped my $150 worth of stuff on the floor and hit the door. Another guy behind the counter said he'd take care of me but I was halfway out the door.

Never been back in there either

About a year ago, I went to Auction House Market in Nola with some friends. No other patrons were inside the building. We found a table and some sat. Others were standing so that we could go order. A militant Megan Rapino came out of her way, to invade our space and berate us for standing without a mask. If we sat, we could be maskless. It made no sense.

We all placed orders for coffee to go, and after receiving we left without food. Sucks for the businesses in there that one militant ruined it. Also, it was ridiculous as all the merchants had their masks off behind their counters.

Went regularly there before Megan Rapino chewed us out. Haven’t been back since. Frick liberalism.

Had eight of us go to Acme on Vets in Metry today for a business lunch. they would not serve or seat us without masks (which only one of us had). We left and went to Mr. Ed's. If Acme's business plan is to lose larger groups like this, they won't be around for all that long.

No. But Querbes Golf Course in Shreveport will still not accept my green fees in cash because it might be infected with the Covid.

Yeah, but you live in Communist China. Well, it might as well be anyway.

I've been confronted a couple times when I was in Tulsa, and it was when Tulsa was under a mandatory mask mandate. The confronters (one Walmart employee, the other a Lowe's employee) both told me that I needed to "either wear a mask or leave".

I simply smiled and said 'no'. And I didn't leave either.

These people get a sense of authority when they tell people what to do, and people obey without a fight. But you resist them and refuse to comply, and it's priceless. I wish I had a go pro recording their facial expressions when they realized they actually had zero right, authority or power.

Acadiana is mask crazy. The people that work at Frog City in Rayne lose their shite if you don’t wear a mask.

Not yet. Grocery stores, banks, home depot, gas stations. About 10% not wearing masks.
