A worse candidate than Hillary Clinton who is also saddled with the de facto incumbent label from an administration with unfavorable ratings. The rational people who decide elections in the end will not trust her with the highest office in the land, no matter the astroturfing and gaslighting.

It's unpossible (joke, chill) to me that Americans were exposed to what a sham this entire administration is and has been, but just decided to get back on the ship when a left-wing west coast unlikable disaster like Kamala entered the race. Unpossible.

It behooves both sides to show their candidate as being in a dog fight. Thats how you get people to donate money. People will use their money for other things if they think its in the bag.

I remember the CNN graph in 2016 where they put out the percentage chance of Trump and Clinton becoming president and it had Clinton at 85% and Trump at 15%. Polls aren’t always accurate.

The confidence comes from the knowledge that Trump is uniquely unable to project joyfulness. Biden couldn’t either, so it was not a factor. But that’s the one thing Kamala is good at. She always has a smile on her face, and Trump is always scowling. Like it or not, that drives voters.
When Reagan came along the situation was much like it is today. He was vilified in the press. But he kept smiling and saying, “It’s morning in America”, and he beat the snot out of the Democrats. But with Trump it’s all anger, anger, anger.

I don't know how people still have their head in the sand but the answer is pretty easy - oversampling of polls to provide the allure of "the polls were right" when frickery goes on come election day (and night and the days that follow). Nothing radical was done to prevent these things so its going to happen again.

I think plays into everything to. Ted Cruz and Linsey Graham act like they are on the verge of losing a time they go on fox during election. They end end up winning comfortably. It’s all about keeping that campaign money flowing.
