When buying from a dealer, yes. The issue they are referring to with the "loophole" is I can bring in an AR-15 (unloaded and checked by security before entering) with a For Sale tag hanging from it. In the simplest of terms, you make an offer, I accept, we exchange money and gun. Done deal.

None of the things you mentioned will do ANYTHING to prevent bad things from happening in the future. The end game for the left is complete and total confiscation. It is impossible to legislate evil out of people and making innocent, law-abiding people even more helpless will only create more evil from people with power.

No compromise on anything. Ever.

It will not appease them. They will keep coming back and coming back until they have us all fully disarmed.

Get the frick out, you have been compromised.

1. Reaffirm the right to purchase arms by all Americans and challenge laws that hinder this (magazine size limits, barrel length, etc...)
2. Put forth the "compromise" that a license must be had in order to carry concealed or unconcealed in public with the caveat that a uniform, simple, and inexpensive system to obtain carry license be put in place across all states . ( keep in mind that despite the liberal narrative, this is already for the most part a requirement with the exception of a few constitutional carry states.)
3. Put forth the "compromise" that any gun purchased must be preceded by a background check and purchased from a physical location. Include stores and gun shows and require all gun shows to have a private owner transfer booth (Once again keep in mind that the gun show loophole is a myth anyways.)
4. Put forth a new law outlawing all automatic weapons (once again already exists despite the narrative)

Exactly where is the "compromise" part? I get to keep the rights I already have? People don't even understand the nature of this negotiation.

Actually no you wouldn’t.
2. You currently have the right to own a firearm without a “license” in most states
3. The language for gun sales is transfer not sale. So you would be required to complete a 4473 to have procession of a firearm. That kills off anyone under 18/21 from hunting, criminalizes allowing anyone but you from holding your firearms (example borrow to go shooting/hunting/personal protection purposes)
4. Would remove a right you already have (full auto is legal in most states and are regulated via NFA guidelines

So no, you would not keep the rights you already have. You surrender 3 rights and gain nothing. This isn’t a compromise, it’s a step on a slippery slope.
