You're such a liar. I wasted a long comment responding to you. I have supported Trump in all three general elections.
I thought the Uniparty stranglehold had to be destroyed. I'm a libertarian ideologically, but Bernie seemed the best chance to blow things up. When he supported Hillary Clinton, he was dead to me. Of course, that was BEFORE Trump's first term.
This thread was just to point out that the Greenland deal had to be ratified by the Danish Parliament. Why is that Anti-Trump?

I think it must benefit them. People were losing their minds about how we "own Greenland" now. I was just pointing out if it is a lopsided deal in favor of us, the Danish Parliament won't ratify it.

Continuity if Nuuk ever walks. Reuters says the deal is meant to last with no off-switch while Denmark keeps sovereignty.
The headline screams what he failed to annex. The body catalogs what he took. The strongest evidence against their “failure” sermon is sitting in their own goddamn copy, grinning at them.

1. The deal hasn't been signed. Trump makes a practice of throwing in last-minute conditions. (See Saudi Nuclear Deal)
2. The Danish Parliament will have to ratify whatever deal is reached. The"procedures" vary according to what's actually in the deal...which apparently hasn't even been disclosed to the Parliament yet.

What are you talking about? I have continually complimented President Trump for tackling problems that no other president would have.
That's the main reason I think he's the best president of my lifetime. As part of his salesman personality, he frequently exaggerates. I thought everyone knew that.
The deal sounds great. Unless and until the Danish Parliament approves it, it's not binding.

More important, whatever gets signed in NY won't take effect unless the Danish Parliament ratifies it. Why is this a hard concept?
The deal is not done. It probably will get done. If it's what has been described, apparently the Danish Parliament will ratify it (why wouldn't they?)...but the members who I heard hadn't even seen the alleged agreement.

Don't know if Canada was in bad faith, but I agree that even with the passage of time, Denmark sounds excited about whatever the deal is.
I haven't heard much opposition to it from Denmark. It looks like it will go through.
