Okay. That's your argument?
Well these businesses are doing it to themselves. We are in a pandemic, the goal is to try to stop the spread of a virus.
They shut shite down and with good reason people flip out.. But then they say "we can open things back up, but we need you to wear a mask to help prevent it from spreading" then people lose their shite".
People should be willing to do this for their country. To help stop spreading this virus around.
Oh and what about Trump trying to ban TikTok all because people make fun of him on there. He will say its because China is stealing your information, but that is bullshite. As if they have to create an app, in which an American has the most shares in, in order to obtain people's information.
But its funny how you justify Trump putting troops into a city that doesn't want them. Those states are doing it to themselves? If they say they don't need federal troops then that is up to them to take care of the problem. If you don't think that is as bad as the state trying to get people to wear mask to prevent the spread of a virus that little is known about that gets people really sick and even kill some people then I think you have lost perspective.

He is making an example out of Firehouse because they dared to speak out
Of the 698 businesses that received violations:
3 were in Dry Prong
A car wash in Metairie
9 Circle K’s
15 Dollar Generals
15 Subways
4 Walgreens
&
1 business in Amite (a bar)
They are going business to business, door to door writing violations
He is looking at this as a money grab 100%

Agree.
People are arguing just to argue about this one.
It’s like arguing “I want my kids to go to school.” Then they say ok we can do that if we get the students to wear masks. Then people bitch and say “No, I refuse to do that but still want the school open.”

Jesus Christ. I have never seen people circle jerk a president the way people do with Trump.
We would be much further along if it wasn't for him. I have said several times on here why this is true.. Its the facts. So I will just give a summary. In 2005 GWB created a pandemic section of HLS. $17.5 billion of HLS went to preparing for a pandemic. They created a "playbook", it was based down to Obama's administration, he added to the playbook after dealing with H1N1, Ebola, etc. In 2017 Trump decides to eliminate the pandemic section..
For the first two months he was busy telling people it would just go away like a miracle. And that by April it will be gone because it will be warm enough to kill it off.
The pandemic section of HLS was created specifically for this type of situation. There were instructions on what to do to stop it from spreading, immediately shut down our borders, bad travel to and from the US, etc. If that playbook would have been followed, this would have been under control in a month.. Two months at the most.
This us the United States of America, we are supposed to set an example for the rest of the world, instead everyone is laughing at us because we can't get on top of this.
But I know I am wasting internet space even posting this because the Trump cult is strong..

What does Trump and the Federal government have to do with JBE and LDH shutting down a business that refuses to comply with a mandate?
At this point it's a state issue. I'm no lawyer so I have no idea whether or not this is constitutional at the state level, but I have to imagine JBE has a team of lawyers figuring out what is allowed under LDH guidelines and how to enforce the masks.
Now we will see our state systems tested, if the owner can afford to fight it legally or if someone will float the money for him since he's taking a stand.

I went into a local store last week without a mask (left it on my desk). Nobody said shite to me.
