JD Vance grew up as poor white trash in one of the areas most impacted by globalism and the negative impacts on the American working class. He then overcame that, went to an Ivy League school, got a law degree and then became a Senator before being VP. He is the perfect representation of MAGA. In spite of all that, this board now seems content to throw its weight behind the Cuban John McCain. It's frightening to see MAGA turn into Bush/Cheney 2026.

He needs to get back to his roots then. His entire career (including law school and his "VC" job) was financed by the Thiel/PayPal mafia/ Palantir crowd. Not really excited about either of the two TBH.

I'm not a GOP Mega Donor. In fact, I've donated to only one politician in the past 13 years, and he wasn't running for Federal office.

That said....I'd much prefer Vance or DeSantis over Rubio. I'd say Burgum as well, but the dude is already about 70 years old. If he were elected and serve two terms, we'd be looking at another 80 year old fricker as President.

Chris Wright is only 61 years old right now. I could gladly roll with him as President.

If in 2014 I told you that Trump would run for President and win it, you would tell me the same thing. Not saying she’ll win, but she’ll be absolutely vicious in the debates and as of this moment, I think she’s the third most likely person after JD and Rubio to get the nomination.

Take a step back and realize you’re comparing Donald Trump, an American icon long before he entered politics, to a georgia country bumpkin with no aura, no star power, no impressive speaking ability, no humor, not really much of anything.

I mean, you caught downvotes but it's true. I like a lot of what Rubio has done and he has honestly exceeded my expectations for the most part, relative to his current position.

But he has pretty much always been a NeoCon Warpig.

I'm JD 2028 all the way, as it stands right now. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Rubio on the ticket as VP, but not as the frontrunner. Not now. I think he'll be busy helping fix Cuba anyway, after we give them a little reset.

If the GOPe mega-donor stooges can't get behind JD when our future is literally at stake, they should just go ahead and openly switch to the Democrat party.

No. Maga is not throwing their weight behind Rubio. The MEGA donors (also known as globalists) are. Give me J D Vance the hillbilly every day of the week and twice on Sunday! Geaux away Rubio!!!

I like Vance a lot. Good solid pick.

But I prefer Rubio in 2028.

You ought to poll the board if they prefer Rubio vs Vance. I think it would surprise you.

She’s a hell of a shite talker though. Since Donnie won’t be on the stage, I don’t see who beats her in that. Maybe Don Jr if he decides to run, but that’s the only one coming to mind. I’m sure Trump will tweet out shite disparaging Marjorie, but I do think she’ll definitively win one debate just off of the Iran War and Epstein alone.

She’s pretty embarrassing and intolerable. She doesn’t hold a candle to Trump.

Vance or Rubio will glide to the nomination.

The Iran war that will have long been over will be a debate discussion point? Questions are going to be asked about Epstein? You’re getting way too excited assuming improbable things.

I don't like everything about Rubio but he's not all bad and i think for the most part, you know what you're getting

on paper, my views likely align more with vance's stated positions but i don't trust him whatsoever. he's a snake.

I do believe Marco is a different person than 2016 Marco
And I was a fan then. I would be fine with either being the nominee. Just don’t want to see all the infighting. Get behind one and move forward

Ummm, yes. There’s no doubt some moderator isn’t going to play the stuff Trump said about Iran on repeat to Vance, Rubio, and whoever else from the administration may be running. And that’s very arrogant that this will be over by mid-2027.

That won’t happen because the parallel you’re trying to create of a ground invasion, decade plus long war in Iraq to a non ground invasion, short term war with Iran isn’t worthy of comparison. It would be easily dismissed by Vance or Rubio.

Questions are going to be asked about Epstein?

There have never been any questions about this in any debates. Plus it’s been put in the year view mirror with the Epstein Files Act. Won’t be on anyone’s radar in 2 years.
