Your problem is that you don’t understand scale, public political ignorance, and momentum.
The people on this board aren’t the issue. The issue the 20-30% of the US voting population who vote on their current station in life as well as the narrow understanding of political events. It’s why, as someone posted earlier, the sitting Presidential party usually loses the midterms. It’s easy to for the party out of power to pin anything negative on the controlling party.
So in order to maintain political power, the party of the President has to have some actual objective successes that it can run on with no major political blunders. That clearly isn’t the case in this second term.

Support and vote for better candidates. Stop allowing shitty people that just want to enrich themselves become entrenched in DC and glide by doing nothing for decades. Stop protecting those that do nothing or only push 1/4 of what you want out of a conservative representative.
This "well we have to vote for them even though they're a shitty choice, or else the Democrats win" is exactly what creates RINOs that don't actually do anything you want and stay in Congress for 40 years becoming millionaires.
You can't sit there and complain that the system is broken and "Republicans in Congress aren't doing anything to pass the legislation we voted for!" and continue to keep voting them in. It's a self-repeating cycle

We don’t vote in national congressional elections though. We vote in local districts. Those are the only relevant polls.

I noticed Robert Barnes and Rich Baris have been dooming pretty hard on info like this lately. These were two pretty hardcore MAGA guys until the Iran conflict. We’ll see. The Dems don’t have much to offer other than an outlet for backlash against Trump.
It’s getting late to bring energy prices down. The purported diesel export ban seems desperate.
I think the Rs scrape by in the Senate because Talarico and El Sayed are such pathetic candidates.
