You forgot about the part where she sent the ICE agents off to another room to get them out of the way - JUST prior to letting the crooks out to sneak out the side door.

Luckily - ICE had another, plain clothes, agent there pretending to just be waiting.

That would be the only path to her being acquitted. Prosecution has done a good job.

You know she isn't going to jail.

You are probably correct but she can be removed from the bench

"Court reporter admitted that she in Dugan were whispering because they didn't want others to know what Dugan was going."

Court clerk (separate Dugan flunky) admitted in testimony he called the ICE agents (who were there to do their job) fascists before they were led off in an attempt to deceive them and allow illegal to escape

There have been so many Dim and Bureaucratic State scandals, unethical and illegal activities uncovered over the past 10-15 years. Let's see, outside of Bob Menendez going to prison for accepting gifts and bribes from foreign countries not one Dim or Bureaucratic State skunk has gone to prison.

Thankfully that paid off for ICE when they caught the guy a few blocks away. It's almost like they knew ahead of time she was going to try something.

She is so guilty. At the very least she has to be taken off the bench permanently.

You’re having a hard time because she is on your team and you’re not being objective. You are willing to look past someone breaking the law and long as it’s someone on the left

Only 45 minutes of defense witnesses. Just four witnesses. The last one was a character witness who knew nothing of the facts. Testified how honest Judge Dugan is...which was meaningless...she didn't testify in her own defense.

Closing arguments started before noon.

Rolling along!

Fact that Defense's last witness who knew nothing about the facts of the case was a popular local Democrat politician shows that Dugan's strategy is jury nullification.

Is she taking the stand? Oh the fricking irony to watch a judge on trial trying to lie on the stand!

Unfortunately, she did not.

I cannot imagine the deliberations will take long. I would expect a verdict by early tomorrow if not today.

Unless there is someone on the jury wanting to find her not guilty no matter what.

Jury question

quote:

The jury sent a note to Judge Lynn Adelman with a question, which he read aloud in the courtroom around 3:50 p.m.

The jury asked if it could recall the exhibit that included ICE internal policies regarding the steps required before and after warrants are issued, and who must be communicated with.

That answer is bad for the prosecution. Less optimistic about a guilty verdict.

Apparently that question concerned the misdemeanor charge. I was not aware of that.

Jury asked the same qurstion about tge felony count. Judge said Dugan did not need to know the name of the subject of the warrant. Good for the prosecution.
