The opposite, actually. Boomers needed a millennial to help them create the wealth you’re describing

Are millennials retarded? It's hard to follow the narrative you guys have bought into.

Boomers have too much, they stole the prosperity of young people and now won't share it. But it was millennials that made the money for boomers somehow. How did this happen?

What exactly did boomers do to hurt millennials?

You’re a boomer? Makes sense now, carry on but your generation took a giant shite on the nation from JFK through Jimmy Carter. You are largely to blame for all the ills facing the nation

If we can get young people to start voting conservative, we'd have a shot.

You guys have bought a Leftist narrative, and now you're clinging to it like your life depends on it.

Very, very, very little is worse by past comparisons to the present.

Ah yes the "We've been amazing you just don't understand," response. Look, I'll fully admit from a consumerism perspective we have more stuff and comforts. That's fine. And if that's what you want to hang your hat on, have at it. But let's see what it took to get there:

The destructions of marriage, family, the household, traditional gender roles
Two working parent households
Destruction of the education system
Massive debt increase
Higher cumulative taxes
More debt vehicles for everyone
Outrageous college costs
The off shoring of large swaths of labor functions
The weakening of the dollar
Poorer cultural products
Corporatization of every facet of culture

All under Boomer watch

Zero appreciation as to what you took, its worth, the effort others underwent to attain it, or of the GenY silver spoon it represented in your mouth since birth.

Come on man.

Do you actually understand why this happens? It's a revolt against the present because the promises never materialize. The results never add up.

Thanks for giving us bush, Romney, McCain, etc.

I just have to comment on this BS. This is the way it works here in Texas. There is an Iowa Caucus first in January. Later in January there is the New Hampshire primary. In February there are primaries in South Carolina and Nevada and in late February a primary in Michigan. By that time we get to Super Tuesday in March, it is mostly over and I get to vote for whomever was chosen in the previous two months. It's a pisser much of the responsibility is give to non southern states.

The education industry infested with Marxists, their fellow travelers and their useful idiots needs to be one part of the clean up.

Amen. My father was 18 when he joined the navy to fight in WWII. He fought in the South Pacific. He was on PT Boat 220, Squadron 16. He died in 2006. I thank the Lord everyday that he is no longer here to see what this country has become and what he fought for may be lost.

It isn’t a “leftist” narrative to know what Vietnam era did to this nation. It isn’t hyperbole to suggest the 60’s and 70’s all but destroyed the nation. JFK assassination through Watergate destroyed Americans trust in government, Vietnam destroyed their trust in the military, Great Society has nearly destroyed black culture, and your inability to vote for anyone who remotely suggests reforming SS has bankrupted the nation. There hasn’t been a more damaging generation
