We can't get hardly anyone of any age to vote conservative any more.

They vote MAGA now, which is far from conservative.

That depends on intent.

When someone posts, as you did in this thread, understandings based on stereotype and unsupported assumptions, I very rarely expect to change that mindset. I only hope to plant a kernel of insight in the mind of someone less emotionally invested, who might read your posts in this thread, and assume there is wisdom imparted in them.

You’re describing yourself in how you’ve reacted to what I’ve said. You formed conclusions based on your own assumptions.

That's not how I operate. But if I misinterpreted something, address it specifically.

… or tellingly don't address it, and move on.

Going Forward From a Boomers Perspective

Yall are the ones that have caused the mess we're in. AOC has only been in office for what, like 6 years? Not a fan of her but you get the point. Half of yall vote Democrat, you’re not some bastion conservative generation. Who pushed in NAFTA, modern monetary policy, immigration expansion, and modern feminism? It was the boomers.

"Y'all" and "mess" are floating signifiers. The folks you are attacking are not a monolith by any stretch of imagination. It is a profoundly weird assertion, as is the boomer-millennial argument in general.

E.g., "Voters between the ages of 25 and 34 also went heavily for Reagan, 56% to 44%. The much courted yuppie vote was solidly Republican too. As many self-described young professionals chose Reagan (67% to 32%)" LINK

Ok...and? Boomer Republicans typically support globalism, modern monetary policy, and neoconservative foreign policy. At least the politicians yall vote for do. The only difference between them and a Democrat is a couple of social issues that have zero effect on most people's daily lives.

Y'all?

Young voters favored Kamala Harris to Donald Trump, 52% to 46%, in the 2024 presidential election LINK

For Baby Boomers (ages 60–78 in 2024), estimates put Trump’s support at approximately 52%–54% of Boomer voters, with Harris getting roughly 46%–48% LINK

You do realize a generation is 20 years boy wonder? Just because you were 12 in 72 doesn’t mean the rest of your generation was.

FFS you really are retarded.

The oldest boomers were born in 1946, so they were 16 when JFK was shot, still teenagers when LBJ started the great society BS, early 20’s when Watergate unfolded, and were the peons sent to fight in Vietnam, not the dumbasses making decisions about it.
