"Engineer?" Tough to say.
But it was definitely being "messed with" in that Wuhan biolab... also hard to say if release was intentional or accidental... my guess is intentional, just because timing was so good for the government.

Yes and No. They were working on it as a bio weapon in the labs at Wuhan. It escaped by accident. Weapons require a degree of control. This was out of control.

Not sure. IMO possibly. If this is a war of attrition pitting populations and deaths per million it's all good for them.
It's also putting a dent in the U.S. economy. Hopefully we don't allow them the opportunity to buy us up on the cheap. But, if U.S. politicians can be bought by foreign corporations and other countries? Who knows?
I'm curious. Did this virus spread widely to other large population centers in China beside rebellious, U.S flag waving Hong Kong?
