Yes. It may not have escaped purposefully but no doubt it came from a Chinese lab and they likely had nefarious intentions for the use of it.

I'm not afraid of China. I just think they have goals that far outweigh any economic impact they might be suffering. They seem all in, at this point. And it's time for military action against them. That, or the citizens of China need to have a massive uprising. That seems unlikely, as I doubt many have access to guns.

Likely it was engineered in Wuhan virology. Why it was engineered, who knows? How it got out of the lab? Easy to say “accidentally escaped.” Plausibility factor? Low.
