NOFX has always retained their punk aesthetic, and I believe had a bunch of shows cancelled because of something they said about the Las Vegas shooting. I don't think they've ever been signed to a label. I personally never got the sense that RATM's arrangements were especially punk, as they were a bit more complex, with one of their singles being a sped up arrangement of a John Coltrane song.
I didn't really listen to Rise Against, as I thought they sucked, but The Offspring and Blink arguably have as much to do with the sanitization of punk as any two bands. God they sucked.

NOFX did help pave the way for the mall punk aesthetics of pop-punk, but they were one of the major representatives of the California skate punk scene. Arguably Bad Religion was more influential in making skate punk more melodic.
