I agree, but the beatings should extend to all of the whackjob politicians and lawyers that defend the "rights" of these weird men.

Having a robust men’s locker room could have prevented this. Nobody at my gym would willingly miss out on the men’s locker room experience we have going. I guarantee this YMCA had a dead men’s locker room culture.

For most of human history we ran around butt arse naked and lived communally, now we need separate buildings just to pee, yay progress.

The only reason there is any reaction to seeing another human in any state of dress is taught into children, they were not born with it.

It isn't particularly clever, but it probably makes you feel good about yourself.

With that out of the way, can we objectively-analyze why this bothers us?

The usual response is something along the lines of "protecting our wives and daughters."

If this person is a MTF TG, statistically it is HIGHLY unlikely that he has any interest whatsoever in the wives/daughters in that locker room. If he were not transitioning, the odds are about 10:1 that he would be living his life as a gay man, with no interest in females at all. If he is going to be lusting in a locker room, that lust would probably/statistically be directed at YOU in the OTHER locker room, not at wives or daughters.

If our "wives and daughters" need to worry at all about someone in the locker room lusting after them, they should be more concerned that one of the biological females in the room is a lesbian (again, statistically). Odd that no one ever seems to express any concern about that particular brand of lust.

Alternatively, maybe some of us just don't want our wives/daughters to see a dick. If that is the "concern," just be honest and say it. It even has some arguable merit. I cannot think of any reason that a minor child NEEDS to be seeing the genitalia of strangers (male OR female, TBH). As for your wives, perhaps you just don't want her making comparisons. That is OK.

When you cut away the dross from the arguments, the only potentially-substantive response IMO is a concern that non-TG folks will PRETEND to be TG in order to sneak a peak at some female skin. So, we find ourselves balancing the likelihood of whether this person is an actual TG or is instead a REALLY devoted "peeping Tom," who was willing to exercise in a maillot just to gain access to the locker room. That shows MUCH more dedication than the guy who wears a wig and a bit of lipstick to sneak a peak in the female fitting room at the mall.

Anyway, both the TG and the dedicated PT are pretty rare. It is probably a coin flip as to which is more likely. I suggest you look and see whether he is sporting wood. If so, he is probably a peeping Tom. If not, he is probably TG. Beat-up the PT, if that makes you feel manly. Just leave the poor TG alone. He isn't hurting or endangering anyone.
