Holy false equivalence.
The social tensions are over the vast waves of muslim refugees who don't contribute to the economy, not immigration as a concept.

THAT'S RACISS!

I live here and the problem with this country is it is regulated to no end. They have regulations for regulations for regulations. It is nearly impossible to get anything done here and the taxation is bordering criminal as well. Something has got to give ,but sadly many Germans when you get something in their head you can't get it out. they really fricked up when they gave the Green Party a seat at the table. The Socialists are bad enough ,but those idiots have wrecked the entire economy with their climate bullshite. Merkel and CDU/CSU also fricked this economy with taking too many "refugees". I can tell you first hand it is coming here. The economics don't add up and they give poors here way too much.

Simpler solution would seem to be tax incentives for people with means to have more kids
I love this idea because I’m Catholic and have a bunch of kids, but it’s been tried other places and it doesn’t work to reverse trends.
People have kids when they believe in something greater than themselves. Money doesn’t do it.

France is no better off and Italy is dead in the water.
Heck the sanctions on Russia might mean the breakup of EU

We're halfway there in the US.

They are paying 4-6x more for frack dirty gas. Germany can't compete with China at the higher price point. This was all predicted after Nordstream was blown up

It was so short sighted. You drove Russia into China's arms which will only make China more powerful. Russia will also become more powerful because they will be China's #1 energy source. These people supposedly hate Russia but made them stronger

The real question is how long before this gets ugly and out of control. People will only take so much.

Liberal countries will all go through the failure of avoiding capitalism.....When you try to blend left wing economics with free markets, shite hits the fan!

Germany is reaching a point of no return. Business leaders know it, the people in the country feel it, but politicians haven’t come up with answers.
Well, didn't turn out well for them the last time a politician came up with a solution.

Yeah clearly that’s the problem.
It’s definitely not climate change driven policy and proto Marxist economic theory blended with importing unskilled arab immigrants who haven’t assimilated

That’s because it was pushed by feminists and decades of collegiate and media indoctrination.
