Free speech is over under Trump. Not only that he is sending the national guard into American cities to “fight crime” aka our military acting against US citizens. We officially are under dictator rule.

Have fun now that a Republican is in control but eventually a democrat will be in control again and Pandora’s box has been opened. The national guard could be coming to our areas very soon.

Who went to prison for their speech? Kimmel can still say whatever he wants.

Charlie Kirk was for being able to say whatever you want openly. He would not be for this. He said there is no such thing as hate speech. That this is being done in his name is against everything he was for.

Hey listen you make a fair point, however there is a big difference between being cancelled and getting fired because your product doesn’t make money. Dude wasn’t funny, I’m sure he can go back to girls jumping on trampolines.

So let me get this straight — y’all spent years screaming about “cancel culture” and “free speech” whenever someone on the right got criticized. But now you’re throwing a party because Jimmy Kimmel’s show got pulled?
George Carlin made a career out of shredding politicians, exposing hypocrisy, and pushing uncomfortable truths. He didn’t care if it was Democrats, Republicans, or anyone else in power — he wanted all of them called out.

If you think silencing Kimmel for criticizing Trump (or pointing out MAGA hypocrisy) is some kind of win, you’re not defending free speech — you’re just proving Carlin’s point that Americans love censorship when it serves their own side.

Carlin would torch this double standard.

Rolling. In. His. Grave.

Turnabout is fair play dick. It’s the only thing you leftists understand. Conservatives are just using the leftists’ playbook against them. Something they should have been doing all along.

Oh, and Carlin was a jackass.

There is absolutely no way you sat through that laugh track loaded log and still believe that he got canned because of Trump or Kirk. It was just his time for being awful at his job. What his said wasn't even that incendiary. I doubt he had even read the words that he was going to say before he walked out there.

Maybe if city leaders and DAs actually handled police work properly it wouldn’t be necessary. But here we are letting violent repeat offenders out on $10 bail so they can go be violent offenders again.

oh no. all the red cities with high crime rates will be shaking in their boots.

wait..

the NG just deployed and was armed behind local PD doing their normal thing without interaction despite how the left portrayed it.

is the NG going to show up and harass Billy bob going back home after a long work day in BFE LA/TX/AL/FL? such a retarded take.

If Kimmel is so low rated and unfunny, why is he such a burr under Trump's saddle? Seems like he would just ignore him. Not a Kimmel fan, BTW, but I don't like where this is going. If the right's opposition to cancel culture was principled, they would be making a point of refusing to play that game, instead of giddily turning the tables.

I don't understand this thought process that Trump somehow got Kimmel fired.

Trump calls for someone to be fired every five minutes, why did this one suddenly work?

When you call someone a fascist and then kill him, don't be surprised when a real fascist takes his place.

It's always worked that way.

Once again. Let me spell this out.

There is a difference between openly celebrating someone’s death and saying they don’t want a Covid shot or that chicks with dicks don’t belong in women’s locker rooms (the left threw bitchfits for both those things in addition to a million other nonsense causes and is now crying when it’s used against them). If the right celebrated Biden getting assassinated they’d deserve to lose their job for being a garbage human being just like what’s going on with people and CK currently.

Jimmy was already getting fired. All the late night hosts are. No one but boomers watch their shows anymore. But he went and blatantly lied about the shooter. Likely to stroke more divide and hate.
